Yes, I (Sal) have to admit, I was a Michael Jackson fan back in the 80’s until college. I still love his music and I believe we should not judge him-that’s God’s business on “Judgment Day!”!
Today (Thursday, June 25th of 2009) I found out about the death of MJ. I first read that he was admitted to the hospital and then would later found out he died through a friend’s facebook post. Then my sister called and would watch more videos on CNN later in the evening. I then decided to post this question on my Twitter account…
How are you going to help “heal the world…and make it a better place?”
This death was somewhat unexpected as this was BIG news. We really never saw this coming as you would see when a person is sick or ill. This shows how life is very precious and we need to question ourselves, are we ready to die? We are all going to die someday, but many of us don’t want to die without “making a difference” in our families, neighborhoods, communities, state, nation, and/or world. If you did die today “unexpectedly”, would you know if you are going to Heaven?
Michael Jackson is certainly the “king of pop”. Jesus was, is, and will always be “King” and “Lord” of my life? What about you?

After coming to a growing personal relationship with Jesus, I learned more of his love and healing. The words in the Bible came to life on healing more and more.
Personal Testimony
I remembered growing-up, I would always stare at this “mark” whenever I take my clothes off. It kind of bothered me. I didn’t like taking my shirt off in public (e.g.swimming) because I got tired of people asking me “what is that or what happened?”. I began to joke with a response as I got older by saying, “I got stabbed during a gang find growing-up in the cities”. They would respond with their eyes wide and mouth open with shock. I then would start laughing telling them the real truth after-he he! I began to accept this “mark” this as I got older and thank God for the success of this “Appendicities” surgery at age 3. God had a plan, which my mom repeatedly that I survived w/my name “Salvador” or “Savior” (in Spanish).
Growing-up as a little kid (still today), I would get cuts and bruises-calling it an owe! I got a band aid or some rubbing alcohol to help heal the wound. Well, those “owes” become more serious when you get older and it takes more than those overthecountertop medicines.
It was my freshmen year at UMM when I went skiing with some international students at Andes Tower Hills. I got injured from making a “stupid” mistake…more
I remembered watching all those movies of Jesus and admired when he healed all types of people. Well, I believe God could heal me and my faith grew after the doctor told me that I didn’t break anything after an x-ray…Praise God!
I can share countless stories of God’s healing because I called out to Him. I try to first call to Him before I seek actual physical medical help to show my trust in Him. Then I ask for wisdom on what to do, which He tells me at times to seek a physical doctor. Not only physical healing, but emotional healing of all sorts of issues in daily life.
I personally recommend of reading God’s word, which is better then over the counter/prescription drugs (too many side effects). Try it, you never know what may happen, but read it (some verses from Luke is reccomended as the author was a physician/doctor)in faith and expectations!

God healed my back through a dream. It is a complete miracle! I injured myself while strength training in beginning of January. I could barely get up off the floor w/o repositioning myself gingerly, was always flaring and locking my back making it hard to walk, squat, or do my jobs w/o pain, and hardly able to bend down (forget about picking anything up bent over, w/o compensation until a week ago ! I had even resulted to Ibprofen which I NEVER take. Overnight this past Sunday and ever since, I am able get out of bed w/o hesitation, to sit anyway I want w/o problem and do light dead lifts to build my lost strength and flexibility back up.
This journey was a wake up call to certain things in my life. I don’t know if I have the ability to really give the impact of this experience in typed words, but to some it up: do what gives you joy in the Lord. Ask him what that is. He will provide. He loves you beyond anything you can imagine.

When he was 3months old he had a lot of fever and cough.The #baby cried all the time.So Mum and Dadda took him to our family Dr who is my Mum’s brother in law.He asked my parents to a lot of test and they were so confused at why so many tests for fever and cough.The test results came and the pediatrician and other experts straight told them we will try a few things but the baby will not survive more than 15days. He had the worst blood culture,like now the hemoglobin is 14,in the next few mins it would drop down to 3.His lung had patch,his liver was failing, his pancreas weren’t functioning
My parents- their world fell apart. Soon the baby was put on heavy medication.Drs would pierce him tiny legs with syringes 3 times a day.To a point where the legs were swollen so much,that they started piercing his lil hands.After 3 days or so his body was full of knots.The drs said none of the medicines were working & he would die eventually of multiple organ failure+internal bleeding
Now my Mum is a woman of faith & prayer.She prayed let your will be done Father.If my child lives-we all will serve you as long as we live & if he doesn’t we will still serve you.She went to see our #church pastor’s home & on their wall was Isa 53:5,Ps 118:6.She was convinced it was for her baby,the ans to her constant pleading and prayers.She took my bro home, got him off every medicine & put him back on regular feed.Next she called her women’s prayer group(Mum runs a housegroup for the poor & the under privileged-raising money for widows & their kids).The #women in her group were the most simple ladies you’ll know like maids-very poor,uneducated yet very humble & deeply rooted in #God .Cont⤵

15days were up. And the pediatrician and experts who where my uncle’s colleagues came to visit my parents to console them since they thought the baby is dead. But to their surprise the baby was not only alive but looked healthy and was so fair and not purplish blue(His skin was also affected because of the medication). They requested my parents to do the tests again because, him being alive was impossible and unbelievable. All the tests very perfect. Every organ was ok and the patch and knots had disappeared. Nothing was wrong with the baby plus he had gained 3 pounds. The reports looked like nothing was ever wrong.
So this is for all you Mum’s out there. Look to God. He loves you and your children. Do not trust the facts of the world, live by faith in Christ. There are two truths, 1- that the world shows you but there is another truth i.e- what the word of God says. He can change every unfortunate report but no one can his report. You are what the word of God says you are. He has the final say!

“..As a side note, now that the trial is over, Graham Dwyer has been convicted and sentenced for murder, R.I.P. Elaine O’Hara. I am thankful i escaped being a victim as well. LIFE is a gift and we are never promised tomorrow. I am thankful for every day im alive and breathing! For a brief background, i went through a dark period where i felt that no one could ever love me and that i was a burden. I was EXTREMELY suicidal and very deep into self-harm and it was during this time period where I went online in search of someone to end my life. It was on a dark horror based website where i found Graham Dwyer and he offered to end my suffering. Over a period of months we went over all the details and i started preparing my suicide note and trying to make amends with those around me. I finally couldn’t stand the crippling depression any longer and cried out for God to save me, and He made His presence known and His LOVE gave me the strength to carry on. I stopped all communications with Graham and turned my life around. Almost 5 years later, a detective from the major crimes Unit showed up at my door step and over the period of many months, i gathered my information together and testified againts Graham via video link. They found extensive violent content horror movie clips on his laptop, (consensual) videos of him stabbing women and stories he had written that included graphic rape/murder themes (one he had written about me). This whole experience has been powerful and because i am still alive, i know my work is not yet done. And this life is NOT OVER yet for any of you who are struggling today!! I know how crippling depression can be and want you all to know how loved you are. PLEASE, I WANT TO ENCOURAGE ALL OF YOU to be the LIGHT this world needs. Please extend a hand to those in need and be there for a friend tonight who is contemplating ending their life. ..”

In a time that was suspicious of both women ministers and Pentecostals, Kathryn Kuhlman shook twentieth-century Christianity back to its roots. Believers of all persuasions—Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, or whatever, it didn’t matter—flocked to her meetings to be healed or filled with the Holy Spirit as they had read about in the book of Acts. Though she called herself “an ordinary person,” the effects of her ministry were anything but ordinary. Kathryn Kuhlman was born on May 9, 1907, to Joseph and Emma Kuhlman. A childhood friend described Kathryn as having “large features, red hair, and freckles. . . . She wasn’t dainty or appealingly feminine in any sense of the word. She was taller than the rest of ‘our gang,’ gangly and boyish in build, and her long strides kept the rest of us puffing to keep up with her.”
One Sunday when Kathryn was fourteen, she attended church with her mother. As she stood singing, she began to shake all over and sob. A weight of conviction came over her, and she realized that she was a sinner in need of salvation and forgiveness. She slipped out from where she was standing, went to the corner of the front pew and sat weeping. At that moment Jesus lifted the weight from her shoulders and entered her heart.
In 1924 when Kathryn was about seventeen, she and her older sister Myrtle persuaded their parents that it was God’s will for Kathryn to travel with Myrtle and her husband Everett in their evangelistic tent ministry. Then in 1928, after a meeting in Boise, Idaho, Everett decided to go on to South Dakota, while the women stayed behind and continued to minister there. The offerings collected, however, were not enough to support them and Myrtle soon decided to rejoin her husband. After this happened, a local Boise pastor offered Kathryn a chance to preach at an old pool hall that had been converted into a mission and Kathryn’s ministry began…”
