“..Progress on the soon-to-be tallest structure on earth has been troubled for a while, with the main contractor (and partial owner) Saudi Binladin Group going through a financial rough patch and, more recently, several project officials and royal family members being targeted by the country’s anti-corruption crackdown.
Despite the challenges, work is going ahead on the 1,000 m/3,281 ft Jeddah Tower (formerly Kingdom Tower) designed by Chicago-based Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, and construction recently reached the 63rd floor.

In May 2008, soil testing in the area cast doubt over whether the proposed location could support a skyscraper of the proposed one-mile height, and MEED reported that the project had been scaled back, making it “up to 500 metres (1,640 ft) shorter.”[45]
Reports in 2009 suggested that the project had been put on hold due to the Global financial crisis of 2008–2009 and that Bechtel (the former engineering firm) was “in the process of ending its involvement with the project.”[46][47] Kingdom Holding Company quickly criticized the news reports, insisting that the project had not been shelved.[48]..”

Is Saudi Arabia About to Build A Mega City Atop Mount Sinai? By Adam Eliyahu Berkowitz January 23, 2019 , 2:14 pm breakingisraelnews.com
“..As researchers debate the location of Biblical Mount Sinai, the Saudi Arabian government is moving forward with plans for a mega-city built on top of one of the prime candidates. ..
Mauro will be posting a website with a petition calling on the U.S. State Department and Saudi government to preserve the sites and have them put on UNESCO’s World Heritage list. Due to Saudi restrictions on visitors, the site is difficult to research and if the Saudi plans go through, it will be impossible…
Rabbi Harry Moskoff, the author of the A.R.K Report, concurred that Mount Sinai is in Saudi Arabia but disagrees with the theory that Jabal al Lawz is Mount Sinai.
“The theory that Jebel al Lawz is the location of Sinai is very low on Biblical facts,” Moskoff told Breaking Israel News. Moskoff explained that the theory was first made popular by a book, The Gold of Exodus, published 20 years ago. “Other researchers followed that lead but there were a lot of errors in that theory. In order to research this subject, it is necessary to go back to the original sources which are Biblical and Jewish.”

The NEOM project is a subject of major importance that we do not talk about and whose stakes are high to the degree that the Zahra center France make it a point to alert you to the danger it represents.
Egyptian President El Sisi, a strong ally of Israel has formed strong alliances with Saudi Arabia to be a part of the NEOM project. A budget of $500 billion has been allocated for the construction of this mega-city, and the brightest brains of our time will come from all over the world to participate in its development. Indeed, according to its designers, NEOM must “bring together not only the best of Arabia, Asia, Africa, but Europe and America as well.”
There’s big preparations underway for NEOM 2030.
Israel’s transport minister Yisrael Katz made a statement in April 2017 on a state-of-the-art railway project linking Israel to Jordan and Saudi Arabia. A arailway linking the Mediterranean to the Red Sea: the “RedMed” project, between the ports of Eilat and Haifa, via Dimona.
As a result, the city of NEOM would be accessible to Israel, the Mediterranean and, more broadly, Europe.
It will also have access to Africa by a bridge linking it to Egypt via the famous islands of Tirane and Sanafir.
Donald Trump chose the Saudi kingdom for his first official outing as president of the United States. All of this is symbolism.
During this move, Trump signed a nearly $400 billion investment contracts with Riyadh.
$100 billion were allocated to arms contracts.
The remaining $300 billion was largely devoted to investment in NEOM.
Remember that the estimated budget of this mega project is $500 billion and that part of these funds comes from the famous “purge” that recently took place in the kingdom.
A series of spectacular arrests, which affected many princes and businessmen, some of the richest in Saudi Arabia. The choice proposed by MBS was simple, release by means of payment. This massive, large-scale, racketeering operation collected nearly $100 billion.

Neom is one of Saudi Arabia’s and the world’s most impressive construction schemes, but how has the project progressed in 2018?
The $500bn (SAR1.9tn) Neom City was revealed at the Future Investment Initiative 2017 conference, organised by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. The fund is led by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, and is developing, alongside Neom, ‘gigaprojects’ such as Qiddiya and Amaala to further the kingdom’s economic diversification.
Neom has seen major progress since its launch last year, with reports emerging in February 2018 that contracting heavyweight Saudi Binladin Group, led by Bakr Bin Laden, had won initial contracts to work on the project. In July, Saudi Aramco veteran Eng Nadhmi Al-Nasr was named to lead Neom. ..”

Finding the Mountain of Moses: The Real Mount Sinai in Saudi Arabia sinaiinarabia.com
“..The most commonly cited location of Mount Sinai or “Jebel Musa,” meaning the “Mountain of Moses,” is at St. Catherine’s in the southern part of the Sinai Peninsula in modern-day Egypt. While there are prominent proponents of the accuracy of that designation, many others find the evidence to be lacking and have chosen to either dismiss the Exodus account as a myth or to search for other possible locations…”
Viral online film argues Exodus went into Saudi Arabia, Mt. Sinai located in Muslim nation CP CURRENT PAGE: WORLD | SUNDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2018 christianpost.com
“..A new online documentary video has argued that Moses and the Hebrews went into Saudi Arabia during the Exodus, with the famous Mt. Sinai being in the Arabian Peninsula.
Ryan Mauro, a national security expert, director of the Clarion Intelligence Network and former professor at Liberty University, uploaded a nearly 25-minute long film to YouTube on Dec. 17.
Created with The Doubting Thomas Research Foundation, Mauro’s film argues that Mt. Sinai is the modern day Jebel al-Lawz.
“For generations, we have been taught we had to believe the story of the Exodus on faith alone. We were taught that Mount Sinai was located in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, but there was barely any evidence found there to make the story of Moses and the Exodus believable,” reads the video’s description…”

“..The roughly-hewn stones, some of which stand nearly 10 feet high and are often arranged at different angles, are thought to date to the Chalcolithic period (c. 4500–3500 B.C.E.), although their meaning and function have remained a mystery. Based on their alignment, some have argued the stones were erected to help observe certain astronomical events, while others believe they served as territorial markers or landmarks along well traveled routes…”
