Passover – Ten Commandments
“Uploaded on Apr 16, 2008
This is a montage I found on http://www.tsofar.com/zofar/mashtap/s… and wanted you all to see. It shows us how much G-d loves us. He didn’t do these miracles for any other nation! We should think about that at the Pesach (Passover) Seder. Happy Passover!
What is Passover – Important History and Christian Traditions Russ Jones ChristianPress.com crosswalk.com
“.. In many circles there appears to be an increasing interest in the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. This Easter season numerous congregations across the globe will hold a “Passover Haggadah” or more traditionally known as a “Seder” to gain a greater understanding of the Christian – Jewish relationship. To understand more about the holiday of Passover and how Christians can meaningfully celebrate it today, let’s dig into the history and traditions.
A Brief Passover History
Passover is the oldest and most important religious festival in Judaism, commemorating God’s deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt and His creation of the Israelite people.
The festival of Passover begins at sunset on the 14th of Nisan (usually in March or April) and marks the beginning of a seven day celebration which includes the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The highlight of Passover is a communal meal, called the Seder (which means “order,” because of the fixed order of service), which is a time to rejoice and celebrate the deliverance for the Hebrews that God accomplished through the exodus.
What every Christian needs to know about Passover

10 Reasons To Make Masturbation Part Of Your Wellness Routine by Alexandra JamiesonMay 5, 2015 10:42 AM mindbodygreen.com
“..Through working with thousands of women as a health coach (in addition to my own personal experience), masturbation has been both an uncomfortable topic to talk about — while also being a powerful healing technique. It’s time to finally embrace it.
Masturbation has gotten a bad reputation, mainly because religion and culture tell us it’s a sin. The Bible doesn’t explicitly talk about masturbation, although there is some stern warning against “spilling your seed on the ground.” The Catholic Church decided that masturbation (sometimes referred to as “onanism” after Onin, a Biblical character) was a sin deserving of eternal damnation.
By the time World War I came around, onanism was being called “self-abuse” and described in medical texts as more dangerous to young boys than lying or stealing. Girls and women aren’t even mentioned, as if “the fairer sex” couldn’t even possibly do something so dirty.
So it stands to reason that most of us would feel some traces of shame, guilt, or even fear when practicing this very natural act. But take heart from the animal world and modern science! Dozens of mammal, bird, and insect species have been documented to masturbate in captivity and in the wild. From penguins, to dolphins, horses, and even porcupines, mother nature has no judgment when it comes to wrapping your hand, wing, or fin, around your own personal magic wand. ..”
Masturbation Debate (Part 1) , from youtube.com
“..Published on Aug 17, 2012
One of the most common topics that gets debated in our ministry is masturbation. Is it a sin? Does the Bible say anything about it? Does it even matter when talking about sexual purity? These and many other questions come up over and over. This 3-part series will help shed light on this issue from a biblical perspective…”
Masturbation: Is It Wrong? Dr. Juli Slattery todayschristianwoman.com
Yes . . . and no. Guidelines for sorting out a complicated question.
“.. 1. What are you thinking about?
While masturbation itself isn’t immoral, the sexual fantasies that usually go with it may be. Most women only masturbate when they are thinking about or looking at something sexual. Sexual fantasies about someone you are not married to are, as Jesus stated, “adultery of the heart.”
“But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman [or man] with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)
If you are single, fantasizing even about some fictional sexy guy is promoting lustful thoughts. If you are married and fantasizing about another man, you are violating, in your mind and heart, your promise to give yourself sexually only to your husband. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with a married woman fantasizing about her own husband…
2. What is your motive?
The Bible makes it clear that God is very concerned about our motives. For example, giving money to your church might be a wonderful act of worship or an empty gesture, depending upon the attitude of your heart. The same can be true of masturbation.
3. Is it mastering you? (No pun intended.)
The apostle Paul taught that “nothing should master” us. In other words, we shouldn’t be controlled or addicted to anything…
4. Am I honoring God with my body?
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)….
Can Christians Masturbate?
“Published on Jun 9, 2013
This video uses common Protestant theology to show that masturbation for Christians does not need to be such a guilt-ridden, condemning act as it is often treated.
For my regular subscribers, please note that I am not using a skeptical method of analyzing doctrine but am staying within the bounds of commonly accepted Protestant beliefs.

Negative Effects of Masturbation
September 24, 2012 by Andrew Michell howtostopmasturbation.com
Does masturbation have negative effects? Scientists published this very revealing graph in the Archives of Sexual Behavior here. You can see that as masturbation increases the satisfaction with life decreases. The more a person masturbates the more dissatisfied a person may become. This leads to depression, unhappiness, lack of motivation, and other problems. (click to enlarge picture)
If masturbation is so healthy as so many claim then why are so many people here complaining of pain and negative effects from masturbating? Religion has nothing to do with it because even non religious people experience the same pains and negative side effects. Actually %100 of the data from this study came from Sweden, which is the most atheistic country* in the western world! The more often atheists masturbate the worse they feel. Some will reply “But masturbation is okay unless you are doing it 10 times a day.” Look at the graph. People who feel the worst masturbate only 10 times a month. ..”

Born with a hole in her heart, she saw Jesus before angels carried her home
June 10, 2014 blog.godreports.com
“..After her second birthday, she had her first vision of Jesus. It happened in their family room, only a few weeks before her passing….
“Hey Jesus. Hi. Hi Jesus,” she said, to her mom’s surprise.
“What do you see, babe? Tamrah asked.
“Hi Jesus. Hi,” little Giselle continued, her eyes wide with delight.
“Where is He?
“Right there,” she pointed.
Giselle had at least two more visions of Jesus in the weeks before her graduation to heaven. One happened in the car while they were driving and another in a store.
One day in the car, Giselle began to spontaneously sing, “Rejoice! Rejoice! (E)mmanuel…” She had not learned to pronounce ‘E’s’ so it came out as ‘Manuel.’

He showed me the inside of a church. The church had light-colored woodwork. The doorknob was a triangular glass-colored doorknob. And then the vision showed me in a rust-colored stretcher and people gathered around praying for me. There was a man in a pinstriped suit. Then God showed me a picture of myself out riding a bike on beautiful green grass, and it said ‘March 29th’ in just great big bold letters — that was three weeks away.” ..”

Sal: Personal Oral (3:45 minute) Interview
Last week (April 4th/5th 2016), a client (anonymous for confidentiality) at my workplace shared this story after she sporadically told me she was “healed” (medical condition is confidential, but trust me-I saw her in a really serious medical condition that I just laid my hands on her and prayed for her during this “severe” medical condition in front of my co-worker) and “saw” Jesus. I have to be honest, I was skeptical at first, but as she shared some specifics of her personal encounter with Jesus in Heaven. Her story confirmed many other stories I’ve heard (e.g. Victoria T. from my local church when she shared late last spring (see Sermon Download 04.19.2015 – Speaker: Spencer and Victoria Tiernan – [DOWNLOAD]) of 2015. I already have consent from her to share:
“…He said it wasn’t my time to go yet… (Sal: “so you told me earlier that you saw your grandparents/relatives and they were younger lookin’?) Yup..you never grow old in Heaven…(Sal: this happened last Friday)..Yup..this was a real miracle for me. God is watching over me (Sal..healed from your “medical condition”)..and that I was walking, running, playing, etc.. with the dogs and cats…(Sal: you were walking..this is an encouragement for people in wheelchairs too)…that I was a miracle I was in Heaven and not in wheelchair…and saw ____(name of our friend is confidential)____ (saw ___(friend)___? how did he look?)….”good..(Sal-younger?)…yup…(Sal-no white hair?)…yup”…(Sal-‘should share this with __(another common friend of ours)__) ..(Sal-Heaven is real!)..and there was angels and yeah..and see some…nice trees, was really beautiful (Sal..”new earth”)..if I go back to Earth , I would like to come down was as a dog (Sal: we’ll get new heavenly bodies..)..[stopped video]
After she shared this story, I remembered most of last week I was singing the chorus of this song (“Come & Let Your Presence fall in this…”)…e.g. workplace) that was in the list of worship songs for last Sunday as part of my local church worship team.
I was so inspired and encouraged by her story, that I told her to keep sharing this to as many people as she can. She would immediately share this with her peers, visitors at our workplace, co-worker, etc.. I’ll keep you updated of any further testimonies. Till then, may this and all these stories (above and below) encourage you in your faith and to share your own personal “faith building” story to as many people around you!
2 Corinthians 5New Living Translation (NLT)
New Bodies biblegateway.com
” 5 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.[a] 4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. 10 For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body…”
Ron Zaucha: A Vision of Jesus, from cbn.com
“…“I had a vision there in jail of Jesus Christ. He appeared to me as real as you are and finally spoke. I said, ‘What do You want?’ And He said, ‘You.’ I says, ‘You can’t want someone like me. I’ve done all these things. Hurt all these people. Done all this stuff in my life.’ And He said, ‘I came for people like you.’ When that happened, I knew I needed to change my life.”
That night Ron called his mother and grandmother who bailed him out of jail. The first thing he asked for was to be taken to church. It was Easter Sunday.”..

I SAW JESUS! (The Karen Templin Story) Jesus Did It!
By: Karen Templin
“…As I was thinking I should look for His face, I raised my eyes, and I couldn’t have been more surprised by what I saw. I saw Jesus — He was actually there! It was just His face, but he was alive, and moving around. He had dark, shoulder-length hair with light streaks of gray, and He was wearing a crown of thorns. I just gazed up at Him, and He was smiling at me with the most loving smile I had ever seen in my life!
The first thing I thought was – He looks a little different than He does in His pictures, but only slightly different. I had expected His hair to be longer, and His nose was a little different…
Next, I saw Him sending beams of transparent, white light towards my heart. I felt the light penetrating my being. The light felt like nothing, other than pure love and compassion. Jesus was very kind and loving towards me — not condemning at all. I only sensed a strong outpouring of love from Him. He seemed perfect in His goodness and kindness.
Next He began to communicate to me, but no words were used. He communicated by sending me feelings. There was knowledge in the feelings that I understood easily and clearly as it was transferred into my mind.
He said that He already knew about it all — my lack of forgiveness towards others — how I had been hurt by other people, and the circumstances in my life that had made me feel that way. He said, “I know everything about you.” That surprised me greatly, but I also felt comforted by it. It meant that He had never been far from me like I had always thought. I realized that I had been constantly under His supervision, like when our children are small, and we never let them out of our eyesight.
Again, I felt more compassion from Him pouring out to me. He said, “I feel your pain. I grieve with you.” He was like a loving parent who will pick you up when you are hurting, and hold you in his loving arms. He will comfort you, and wipe away all of your tears. I actually felt like I had been comforted, and held in the arms of Jesus.
After He comforted me, He spoke again. He told me not to worry or concern myself with these things because He would take care of it for me. I sensed an incredible strength in Him. I felt like a burden had been lifted, and I felt like He could easily carry all of my burdens. We have all been taught about the meek and humble man, but he exuded strength, and I could feel it.
I was still looking at Him. I was still surprised by some of the things that He said. He was still looking at me. He still wore that loving smile on his face that would melt the heart of the worst hardened sinner. He was still sending me love, and it was to overflowing. There was so much love that I felt like my heart couldn’t hold it all, and it may burst if I took in much more. I began to feel like I couldn’t handle it anymore. Maybe in human form we can’t. I don’t know.
Seeing all of the goodness and purity in Him, I felt like I may break down into tears and sobs. I started to feel unworthy of His pure holiness. He was a soul at the highest level of perfection. Seeing this makes you aware of even your smallest sins. I felt unworthy of Him, and then I looked away.
When I looked back, He wasn’t there anymore, but I was left with a feeling of total awe. Jesus had been there. I had seen Him. I had felt Him. He had communicated with me. The thing I was left knowing, above everything else, was that He loved me more than anyone had ever loved me in my life!..”
What does Jesus really look like?
by Tom Brown tbm.org
“..I didn’t see Him in his traditional garments; instead I saw Him sitting in a wheelchair with a blanket over His legs. There was suppose to be an elderly man sitting there, but instead it was the Lord. As I looked across the room, all I could see was Jesus. I saw Jesus in the place of all the people. He wore a nurse’s uniform. He sat in a chair where there was a lady supposed to have sat. I could not see anyone’s face. I only saw the Lord.
As I looked in astonishment, I heard the Lord say, “Whatever you have done for one of the least of these, you have done unto me.” The vision ended…”

The Azusa Street Revival of 1906 was the most powerful expression of revival in modern times. Multitudes were saved, healed, filled with the Holy Spirit and experienced miracles. 110 years on Lou Engle of TheCall is trusting God for a fresh outpouring… at Azusa Now.
Join many leading revivalists LIVE from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday 9 April, including Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker; Todd White; Daniel Kolenda; Shawn Bolz and others. With worship led by Bethel Music and Jesus Culture.
For 15 years TheCall has proclaimed an uncompromising message of consecration to Jesus, crying out, “Prepare the way of the Lord”, just like John the Baptist. Now Lou Engle believes it is time for a new Jesus Movement that will “Behold the Lamb!”
Azusa Street transcended barriers as diverse people gathered in bonds of love, unity and prayer. Azusa Now is built on the hope that such revival can happen again. Azusa revivalist, William Seymour said it would. He prophesied the Holy Spirit would be poured out even stronger, 100 years later…

Documentary about the Azusa Street Revival :
The Azusa Street Revival was a historic Pentecostal revival meeting that took place in Los Angeles, California and is the origin of the Pentecostal movement. William Joseph Seymour was an African American from Louisiana and was a son of a former slave who had severe case of smallpox which left him blind in one eye and a disfigured face. He was born May 2, 1870 in Centerville Louisiana. The Revival began with a meeting on April 9, 1906, and continued until roughly 1915. It came to be known as the birthplace of the Pentecostal Movement Revival and the birth of a spiritual renewal that hit around the world.”

A Look at the Trinity From a Messianic Jewish Perspective
by Richard Harvey Hits: 12004 jewsforjesus.org/
Jesus in Genesis: 1. The First Word of the Bible
I asked my dad once how do you convince a Jewish person that Jesus is the Messiah. He told me to show them Jesus in the Old Testament. My first thought was like everyone’s, the Old Testament (The Tanakh) is for the Jews and the New Testament (B’rit Chadashah) is for the Christians. My dad had it right. Jesus is on every page of the Old Testament; you just have to look. To prove my dad’s point, look where Jesus is hiding in plain sight in the very first word of the Bible. God bless you for watching.—John

How can Jesus be God when the Hebrew Bible says God is not a man? Cf. Numbers 23:19; 1 Samuel 15:29; Hosea 11:9. answering-islam.org
None of those biblical texts say God CANNOT be a man, but say that God IS not a man, a major difference:
“God IS not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?” Numbers 23:19
“And also the Glory of Israel will not lie or have regret, for he IS not a man, that he should have regret.” 1 Samuel 15:29
“I will not execute my burning anger; I will not again destroy Ephraim; for I am God and not a man, the Holy One in your midst, and I will not come in wrath.” Hosea 11:9
It is true that during the Old Testament period God hadn’t become a man, but this doesn’t deny that God could choose to later become a man, specifically in the Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Hebrew Bible itself supports the view that God can become a man, without ceasing to be God, since there are places where God appeared in human form:
“The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw THREE MEN standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground. He said, ‘If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord, do not pass your servant by. Let a little ..”

A friend and I had “another” deep philosophical conversation the other night. This time, he actually brought a good question, which I really never took the time to ponder about-“What did Jesus do between the ages of 12 and 30?”-which wasn’t recorded in any of the Gospels?
What Was Jesus Doing Before He Began His Ministry? whataboutjesus.com
“… Aside from the account of Jesus’ birth and infancy, there is only one account in the Bible about his boyhood. That’s the time when the 12 year old Jesus was in the temple courts of Jerusalem amazing his teachers with his knowledge of the Scriptures. You can read about it in Luke 2:41-52. The account ends in an interesting way. God tells us that the boy Jesus did not remain in Jerusalem in the temple. Instead he was obedient to his earthly parents and went back with them to his hometown of Nazareth. There in Nazareth, from age 12 to 30, “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”…”
Where was Jesus between the ages of 12 and 30? by Ryan Turner carm.org
“…The best thing that we can say for now is that it was not the first century Gospel writers purpose to talk about the childhood years of Jesus in much detail, so we really do not have much to say about them. I think that we should focus on what we can know about Jesus rather than what we do not know. For ancient historical records, we have a lot of information about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. It is there that we should focus since the resurrection is the foundation upon which Christianity is built (1 Corinthians 15:17, cf. John 2:19-21, Matthew 12:39-40).”
Where was Jesus between ages 12 and 30? What was He doing?, from quora.com
“…I think we can surmise from the trajectory his life was taking at age 12 that he continued to be “about his Father’s business” Luke 2:49 “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”..

“… But a lack of information in scripture has never stopped scholars from theorizing, especially when there is internal evidence, that is, evidence we can deduce from the literature itself, to support a pet theory. So, here are three theories I have encountered in my studies. ..
Then there is theory number three. This notion doesn’t get much support from orthodoxy, but it has a strong band of supporters. These claim that Jesus went to India or elsewhere in the Near East and studied Buddhism. …”

The Missing Years
by Bruce A. Ritter rcg.org
“…Some, relying on human reasoning and theory, have invented stories about these “lost” years. One tells of a young Jesus learning the mystic arts in Egypt. Another tale has Him journeying across the Atlantic Ocean to preach to the American Indians, who some believe to be the “lost ten tribes” of Israel. Yet none of these or other manmade tales are supported by the Bible…”

“The Lost Years of Jesus” looks at the nearly 30-year gap in the Gospels regarding the life of Christ. Included is speculation on whether Jesus may have traveled outside of Palestine during those three decades.

Tom Nelson: The Hidden Years of Jesus
From age 12 to 30, Jesus spent time in a carpenter shop. What does that mean for us? christianitytoday.com
“From age 12 to 30, Jesus spent time in a carpenter’s shop. What does that mean for us? Tom Nelson highlights the importance of the fact that Jesus spent most of his time on earth working – creating, shaping and fixing with his hands. The magnitude of Jesus’ “hidden years” serves to remind us that work most certainly matters…”
If Jesus started ministry at age 30, what was he doing for 30 years? thisisyourbible.com
“…Mark tells us that Jesus, like Joseph, worked as a carpenter (Mark 6:3). This job was much as it is today, a skilled, but honest and hardworking trade. It would have given Jesus opportunity to meet all kinds of people and travel in Galilee. We know from historical records that when Jesus was in his teens, just starting his trade, the nearby town of Sepphoris underwent a major rebuilding which brought stonemasons and carpenters from all over the Roman empire. As it was less than an hour’s walk to Sepphoris it is almost certain that any young carpenter of Nazareth would also have spent some time working there. Sepphoris was a Greek-speaking town, and Jesus, who probably only spoke Aramaic (a form of Hebrew) at home, would have learned to speak Greek. The rebuilding of Sepphoris would also have provided extra income for his family.”
I’m still doing some research on this topic and this will probably will never end. I would love to welcome any other credible sources out there that might “help” answer this question. Got any personal suggestions, feedback, comments, etc..?

I (Sal-> my personal testimony of God’s healing) was at a “healing” service this past week at a “non-church” building. There were many people that actually got “healed” completely and others that “felt” better. One of the people in the audience asked this question-“Why doesn’t God heal everybody?”..
I immediately thought of doing a blog on this topic and look for answers:
Why Doesn’t God Heal Everyone?
What Does the Bible Say About Healing? By Mary Fairchild Christianity Expert christianity.about.com
…Biblical Reasons God May Not Heal
“Now, before we dive in, I want to admit something: I don’t fully understand all of the reasons God does not heal. I have struggled with my own personal “thorn in the flesh” for years. I’m referring to 2 Corinthians 12:8-9, where the Apostle Paul stated:
Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. (NLT)
Like Paul, I pleaded (in my case for years) for relief, for healing. Eventually, like the apostle, I resolved in my weakness to live in the sufficiency of God’s grace.
During my earnest quest for answers about healing, I was fortunate to learn a few things. And so I will pass those on to you:..”
Towards the end of this service last week. I joined the “speaker” to lay hands on a particular person that has been battling “migraines” for years. She’s had prayer countless time, which the “speaker” replied it could be many unknown reasons (e.g. food allergies, environmental factors, etc..)
I thought of another possible answer why certain people don’t get healed for certain “health” conditions. The “speaker” used to have cancer and would get prayer countless times-no healing! He eventually got free of cancer after therapeutic exercises. I remember going to do a “treasure hunt” (ministry outreach) with his mother around the community. We went to the grocery store and I ended up buying a grocery item with sugar. The mother of the “speaker” told me she stopped eating foods with processes sugar since his son was free from cancer. They don’t want the caner to come back by going back to his “old” eating lifestyle of eating processed sugar.
This particular story is just one example of “why” some people haven’t been healed unless they change their lifestyle.

James 5:14 and Healing
Paul Kroll gci.org
“..What does the Bible as a whole and our experience teach about divine healing? Our experience and the many biblical examples and principles that bear on the subject show that not every sick or infirm person has been healed by divine healing. Even as you are reading this, there are many faithful Christians around the world who are sick and who have asked God for his healing, but who have not been healed.
Scripture also contradicts the idea of automatic divine healing. The Bible records numerous cases where righteous people were ill and were not healed. For example, Isaac and Jacob were blind in their later years. Elisha died of an illness. Timothy is spoken of as having “frequent illnesses” (1 Timothy 5:23). Paul said of one of his co-workers in the gospel, “I left Trophimus sick in Miletus” (2 Timothy 4:19). The apostle Paul himself suffered an infirmity that was not healed (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). The continuance (rather than healing) of Paul’s illness or infirmity had a purpose – God’s strength could operate in him through his weakness. The same may be true for many other Christians today…”

Perseverance in Prayer
The “speaker” shared about how a person got “completely” healed after several prayer trials/attempts during a “past” healing healing service. One of the people at the “non-church” venue last week applied this, which he got “better” and “better” after folks prayed for him several times.
