Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs. “Beauty and the Beast” is the fantastic journey of Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle. Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within. The film stars: Emma Watson as Belle; Dan Stevens as the Beast; Luke Evans as Gaston, the handsome, but shallow villager who woos Belle; Oscar® winner Kevin Kline as Maurice, Belle’s eccentric, but lovable father; Josh Gad as Lefou, Gaston’s long-suffering aide-de-camp; Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, the candelabra; Oscar nominee Stanley Tucci as Maestro Cadenza, the harpsichord; Oscar nominee Ian McKellen as Cogsworth, the mantel clock; and two-time Academy Award® winner Emma Thompson as the teapot, Mrs. Potts.”

“ Why Some Parents Say Christians Should Watch Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 03-19-2017 www1.cbn.com “..When Disney announced it would feature an “exclusively gay moment” in its new “Beauty and the Beast” remake, Christians everywhere vowed to boycott the movie. Despite the backlash, some Christians say parents should think twice about prohibiting their children from seeing the film.
CBN News caught up with folks who saw the movie opening weekend to find out what they think about the controversy. Click the video above to see what they said.
One of those parents is Sarah Wallace, a blogger for The Gospel Centered Mom, and mother of four. She says the movie gives parents the opportunity to teach their children how to interract with a world that loves sin.
“This is the culture God has appointed for us to raise our children in. We need to know how to live in it and interact with it,” she says. Instead of ignoring a culture that celebrates homosexualtiy, Wallace argues that Christians should send their children out into the world with strong knowledge of what the Bible says. ..”

Sal: I’ve seen various versions of this story, but somehow this particular movie inspired me to write about this one. One major reason was the character…
Hattie Morahan as Agathe /en.wikipedia.org “..– a reclusive, old woman who lives in Villeneuve who, in reality, is a beautiful enchantress in disguise responsible for cursing the Prince. She watches and manipulates the events between Belle and the Prince, secretly acting as their guardian.[18]
Morahan also narrates the prologue…”
I saw her as the “guardian” angel and a particular symbol in the Bible of someone we “humans” need to watch for in life. Can’t let looks disguise you as the theme of this movie pretty much teaches..

SPOILER ALERT!!!
What’s Up With Agathe In ‘Beauty And The Beast’? She’s A Complicated Character, To Say The Least By Olivia Truffaut-Wong bustle.com “..Just a nameless and vindictive creature in the animated film, the Enchantress depicted in the new Beauty and the Beast, as played by Hattie Morahan, has a life beyond just cursing a spoiled Prince who refused to give her shelter. Named Agathe, the Enchantress appears in the prologue scene to curse the Beast, but she also pops up throughout the film as a villager. Agathe makes her debut in the film as the provincial town’s local old maid. She is an unmarried woman left begging on the streets, used by Gaston as a cautionary tale after Belle tells him she doesn’t want to go out with him. Pointing to Agathe, Gaston warns Belle that, in this town, an unmarried woman is destined to end up on the street…
Perphas the most significant change to the story in the live action Beauty and the Beast is the presence of Agathe at the end of the film. In the movie, the last rose petal has already fallen when Belle tells the Beast that she loves him. Belle didn’t break the curse at all, Agathe did. When the townspeople rush the castle, she enters with them, slipping in among the angry mob and making her way up to the West Wing of the castle. After witnessing Belle’s declaration, Agathe makes the conscious decision to lift the curse. In other words, she plays an active role in creating their Happily Ever After. Ultimately, the power to break the curse is in her hands and hers alone. She’s not just a random witch, she’s a woman with agency….”

What other “life lessons” or any personal thoughts or reflections you got from this movie or any of the Beauty and the Beast versions?
Beauty and the Beast (2017 soundtrack) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia wikipedia.org “…Condon originally planned on not only drawing inspiration from the original film, but he also planned to include most, if not all, of the songs composed by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice from the Broadway musical, with the intention of making the film as a “straight-forward, live-action, large-budget movie musical”. Menken returned to score the film’s music, which features songs from the original film by him and Ashman, plus new material written by Menken and Rice. Menken said the film would not include songs that were written for the Broadway musical and instead, created four new songs. On January 19, 2017, it was confirmed by both Disney and Celine Dion, singer of the original title track, that she will perform one of the new original songs, “How Does a Moment Last Forever”, to play over the end titles.[1][4] The film will also feature a new version of “Beauty and the Beast” by Ariana Grande and John Legend.[1][5] Some songs contained Ashman’s unused lyrics that were cut from the animated version…” Beauty and the Beast (From “Beauty and the Beast”/Official Video)

10 Reasons To Make Masturbation Part Of Your Wellness Routine by Alexandra JamiesonMay 5, 2015 10:42 AM mindbodygreen.com “..Through working with thousands of women as a health coach (in addition to my own personal experience), masturbation has been both an uncomfortable topic to talk about — while also being a powerful healing technique. It’s time to finally embrace it.
Masturbation has gotten a bad reputation, mainly because religion and culture tell us it’s a sin. The Bible doesn’t explicitly talk about masturbation, although there is some stern warning against “spilling your seed on the ground.” The Catholic Church decided that masturbation (sometimes referred to as “onanism” after Onin, a Biblical character) was a sin deserving of eternal damnation.
By the time World War I came around, onanism was being called “self-abuse” and described in medical texts as more dangerous to young boys than lying or stealing. Girls and women aren’t even mentioned, as if “the fairer sex” couldn’t even possibly do something so dirty.
So it stands to reason that most of us would feel some traces of shame, guilt, or even fear when practicing this very natural act. But take heart from the animal world and modern science! Dozens of mammal, bird, and insect species have been documented to masturbate in captivity and in the wild. From penguins, to dolphins, horses, and even porcupines, mother nature has no judgment when it comes to wrapping your hand, wing, or fin, around your own personal magic wand. ..”
One of the most common topics that gets debated in our ministry is masturbation. Is it a sin? Does the Bible say anything about it? Does it even matter when talking about sexual purity? These and many other questions come up over and over. This 3-part series will help shed light on this issue from a biblical perspective…”
WOMEN
Masturbation: Is It Wrong? Dr. Juli Slattery todayschristianwoman.com
Yes . . . and no. Guidelines for sorting out a complicated question. “.. 1. What are you thinking about?
While masturbation itself isn’t immoral, the sexual fantasies that usually go with it may be. Most women only masturbate when they are thinking about or looking at something sexual. Sexual fantasies about someone you are not married to are, as Jesus stated, “adultery of the heart.”
“But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman [or man] with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)
If you are single, fantasizing even about some fictional sexy guy is promoting lustful thoughts. If you are married and fantasizing about another man, you are violating, in your mind and heart, your promise to give yourself sexually only to your husband. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with a married woman fantasizing about her own husband…
2. What is your motive?
The Bible makes it clear that God is very concerned about our motives. For example, giving money to your church might be a wonderful act of worship or an empty gesture, depending upon the attitude of your heart. The same can be true of masturbation.
….
3. Is it mastering you? (No pun intended.)
The apostle Paul taught that “nothing should master” us. In other words, we shouldn’t be controlled or addicted to anything…
4. Am I honoring God with my body?
“Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19–20)….
This video uses common Protestant theology to show that masturbation for Christians does not need to be such a guilt-ridden, condemning act as it is often treated.

Negative Effects of Masturbation
September 24, 2012 by Andrew Michell howtostopmasturbation.com “…Picture
Does masturbation have negative effects? Scientists published this very revealing graph in the Archives of Sexual Behavior here. You can see that as masturbation increases the satisfaction with life decreases. The more a person masturbates the more dissatisfied a person may become. This leads to depression, unhappiness, lack of motivation, and other problems. (click to enlarge picture)
If masturbation is so healthy as so many claim then why are so many people here complaining of pain and negative effects from masturbating? Religion has nothing to do with it because even non religious people experience the same pains and negative side effects. Actually %100 of the data from this study came from Sweden, which is the most atheistic country* in the western world! The more often atheists masturbate the worse they feel. Some will reply “But masturbation is okay unless you are doing it 10 times a day.” Look at the graph. People who feel the worst masturbate only 10 times a month. ..”
In the Bible just 6 women are described specifically as ‘barren’.
By nature the women who were barren would have borne no children. Each had children by the direct intervention of God.
Barrenness in women and infertility in men are evils of this present world of sin and death brought about by Adam’s disobedience. Barrenness is not punishment on individuals, but like disease, accidents, famines, floods and earthquakes, just another evil that many have to endure.
The promise to Israel, had they kept the covenant made with God at Sinai, makes clear that God can and would intervene and ensure fertility of both people and livestock…
“ Top 7 Bible Verses About Barren Women patheos.com “..Children are a blessing from the Lord, and motherhood is a gift to mankind. In many cultures across the ages a woman’s value was based on her ability to reproduce, and her worth went up even more if she gave birth to a son. Not everyone can have children, though, so it has been a source of pain and suffering for many families through the years. Fortunately, a woman’s value today is not based solely on her fertility, but rather on the many other gifts and talents she might possess. Mrs Kate Fezigha, a 52-year-old woman, has given birth to her first baby, which came after 19 years of her marriage.
Mrs Kate Fezigha got married in 1994.
For years, the new mother, who is a midwife at the General Hospital, Sagbama in Bayelsa State, has supervised the delivery of many children but she never had a child.
She got frustrated after her attempt to adopt a child from a Bayelsa-based orphanage home was scuttled, as she was duped by the coordinator of the home.
Her menstrual flow ceased sometime last year and Fezigha concluded that menopause had set in and her chances of having a child gone.
Afterwards, she started experiencing regular dizziness and pains in some parts of her body and went for a test and the scan showed she was pregnant.
Nine months after, she gave birth to a baby girl named Prudent on June 3, 2013.
Fezigha said at the dedication of the child and thanksgiving service, in Yenagoa that the conception and birth of the “miracle baby” was “the Lord’s doing and it is indeed marvellous”.
She said the pressure on her during her 19-year wait was unbearable, especially as the children she assisted their mothers to be delivered had become parents.
She said: “I was worried that all the children I had taken delivery of while on duty in the hospital were now parents.
“I reflected and declared to myself that in spite of the fact that no child had died in my hand during birth as a midwife, why shouldn’t I have mine?
“But a voice kept telling me to redouble my effort and I shall be blessed.
“But the mysterious voice started reducing in my head as I was fast losing hope. I decided to adopt a baby from an orphanage and I was swindled.
“At this stage, I ignored the voice and handed the matter over to God. And now I am a happy mother.”
It emerged that it was a mysterious sickness that led her into going for a scan that revealed a fibroid or cyst.
Another scan revealed that she was pregnant.
“I had mixed feelings after the second scan. I even told my husband that it’s false pregnancy.
“When my husband asked me what that meant, I became his lecturer, telling him what it meant and saw the expectation of a pregnancy in his eyes.
“A few months later, I started seeing some changes in my body. Throughout this period, I could not go to work and had to be hospitalised twice before I was delivered of the baby.
“Those who knew me could not believe it and screamed when they saw my protruding stomach. They screamed and shouted praise the Lord.”
Basking in the euphoria of her new bundle of joy, Fezigha said that her family is full of praises to God.
“All the period of waiting was not easy, but I am comforted by the word of God. Women who are hoping to have children should put their trust in God.””

The meeting left me emotionally exhausted, but with a sense of renewed faith and peace! John 4 New International Version (NIV)
Jesus Talks With a Samaritan Woman biblegateway.com “…4 Now he had to go through Samaria. 5 So he came to a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob’s well was there, and Jesus, tired as he was from the journey, sat down by the well. It was about noon.
7 When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” 8 (His disciples had gone into the town to buy food.)
9 The Samaritan woman said to him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan woman. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews do not associate with Samaritans.[a])
10 Jesus answered her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is that asks you for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.”
11 “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where can you get this living water? 12 Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, 14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
15 The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I won’t get thirsty and have to keep coming here to draw water.”
16 He told her, “Go, call your husband and come back.”
17 “I have no husband,” she replied.
Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. 18 The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.”
19 “Sir,” the woman said, “I can see that you are a prophet. 20 Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.”
21 “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”..”

“…We are going to understand them properly. To understand these verses in 1 Timothy chapter two properly, and indeed to understand any verse in the Bible properly, you have to have some idea of cultural context in which this verse was written. …
..That is not at all what is going on here. Again, I would like to say that it is because of misunderstanding verses like these that many women have walked away from God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and many women have turned to other religions, ungodliness, or turned against God because they are bitter and upset.
…Other women are in the Church and they have great ministries, but they are sitting not doing anything particularly because they do not want to offend God out of disobedience. They do not want to go against what they think He wants them to do. Sometimes, too, other men and other women jump on women if they try and get involved. Some of this comes from the fact that we misunderstand these verses…
If you look around at church services, and of course, all kinds of Christian organizations do surveys, and you should know that on any given Sunday more than half of the people in churches are women. That is right, more than half of the people in churches are women; yet, in many cases, their ministries have been restricted and constricted because of people who do not understand the text. This verse is a good one.
A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
Right away we are thinking, “Women are way down there on the totem pole with God.” The first thing that we need to point out here is about the culture. When Paul was writing to Timothy, where was he? Where was Timothy? 1 Timothy Chapter 1, verse 3—“As I urged you [Timothy] when I [Paul] went into Macedonia,” Macedonia is Northern Greece, so Paul here left for Northern Greece. Paul says, “When I urged you, when I went into Northern Greece [Macedonia] stay there in Ephesus.” Now we know where Timothy is. He is in Ephesus….
…The boys are already learning without causing a disturbance and in submission, if you will, quietness and full submission. So now what is Paul saying here? He is saying, “a women should learn in quietness and full submission.” If I were to put this into a modern English understanding so that the average street Christian could understand it, I would say, “a women should learn just like the men do, in quietness and full submission.”…
I do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man; she must be silent. For Adam was first formed then Eve.
…Well, we have got two distinct strains of teaching that I want to go into today. One of those is the ancient mythology of the time. Part of the ancient mythology that Timothy was dealing with was that the original creator of the heaven and the earth was a goddess, not a god. That it was not really a creator but a creatress. That the original creatress of the universe, this goddess, was the supreme god and all deities were underneath her….
..”Most Gnostic accounts show Eve as pre-existing Adam. In one account, she’s actually the hermaphrodite from whom Adam is drawn.”…
Gnostics were opposed to childbearing—not every Gnostic, but many Gnostics were opposed to childbearing. Why? Because when you became pregnant, then what happened is that you created another body. But where did the soul come from? Where did that life spark come from? Well, that life spark had to come from the true God—way up there at the top, so that what happens is that you, through your ignorance in childbearing, have caused a piece to break off the true God, if you will, so many of the Gnostics believe that women could not ascend back to the true God until they gathered up all the sparks, if you will, or pieces that they were responsible for breaking off the real God. On page 175 the Kreigers’ write:…
The word silent is the word hesuchia, and it means tranquil. She is not to cause a disturbance.
1 Timothy 2:13
For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
Now the problem in verse 12 is the phrase “have authority over.” This is the Greek word “authentane.” Authentane is translated in every version that I have looked at something like, “have authority over, dominion over, not to usurp authority from.” This is the way authentane is usually handled. In deference to many people who have tried to study these verses on their own, I will say that it has been very difficult to get to the truth….
…Now, if you see where this is flowing, what I want to do at this point is I want to anchor in the part about “teach.”
I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority…
However, if teach and another word are linked in your understanding, then I can forbid one thing. Let me make this clearer. If I say to you, “I do not permit you to teach or discuss higher mathematics.” In that phrase in English, I am not saying that you cannot teach and you cannot discuss higher mathematics as in two separate things. I am saying you cannot teach or discuss higher mathematics. You can go out and teach something else. You can discuss something else, but you cannot teach or discuss higher mathematics….
It is helpful to understand the setting. Ephesus was a wealthy Asian city that revolved around the massive Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Understanding the religion of Artemis, also known as Diana, is very important in understanding the words Paul writes. Notice in the quotation below that Artemis, a fertility goddess, was believed to protect women during childbirth.
“‘Artemis of the Ephesians’ was not a Greek divinity, but Asiatic. This is shown by the fact that eunuchs were employed in her worship– a practice quite foreign to Greek ideas. She was not regarded as a virgin but as mother and foster-mother, as is clearly shown by the multitude of breasts in the rude effigy. She was undoubtedly a representative of the same power presiding over conception and birth that was adored in Palestine under the name Ashtoreth. Her worship, frantic and fanatical after the manner of Asia, was traced back to the Amazons. Her temple at Ephesus was one of the wonders of the world, but its great glory was the ‘image which fell down from heaven’ (Acts 19:35).” New Unger’s Bible Dictionary published by Moody Press of Chicago, Illinois, 1988. …
Myths and Genealogies
…The Amazons are believed by some historians to have been real women whose exploits were magnified into myth. These Amazons are reported to have believed they were not only equal to men, but far superior to men! Therefore, proponents of the Amazons’ goddess Artemis taught female superiority, and this background caused marital problems for the Christian couples of Ephesus! Paul addresses this problem in Ephesians 5:22 as he urges wives to defer to their Christian husbands. Many Ephesian women were told tales of Amazon battles and exploits in their pre-Christian days and taught that they were descended from Amazons– a superior female race! This would explain the false teachers devoting themselves to “myths and endless genealogies” mentioned in 1Tim 1:4. The long genealogies linked them to their Amazon predecessors, whom they believed to be real people that founded Ephesus. Paul was convinced that they were mythological. ..”

In the next few years, they will go above ground and be revealed. Each locality will have regional bases and leaders to which they are accountable. The hierarchy will closely reflect the current covert hierarchy.

New Video Emerges of Alton Sterling Being Killed by Baton Rouge Police written by
Zack Kopplin thedailybeast.com “.. homeless man reportedly called 911 after Sterling showed him his gun after the man asked him for money, an official told CNN. A Baton Rouge police dispatcher then told officers a man matching Sterling’s description “pulled a gun” on the 911 caller, according WAFB-TV.
Muflahi walked out the front door when he saw the officers talking to Sterling and said there was no “altercation,” as police claimed, until the cops tasered and tackled Sterling. That’s when Muflahi took out his phone and started recording.
The Daily Beast is publishing this video in its entirety—despite its graphic nature—because it shows what happened before, during, and after the killing of Sterling. A previous video only showed him being tackled and the first two gunshots…” Here’s what liberals DON’T want you to know about Louisiana shooting victim
Written by Matt Palumbo on July 7, 2016 allenbwest.com “…Police were called after Sterling had been threatening a homeless man with a firearm for asking him if he had any spare change. The homeless man had made the 911 call. After police arrived, Sterling had resisted arrest, and appeared to make a grab for his firearm at one point. This is still disputable, however. In the video footage of the shooting, you can hear the officer shout “He’s got a gun!” and “if you f—king move, I swear to God.” One of the officers then says something unintelligible, and two shots are fired.
So who is Alton Sterling? For starters, liberals should know he possessed an illegal firearm. As a felon with a lengthy rap sheet, Sterling is legally prohibited from possessing a firearm. Police records show Sterling had been a member of the Bloods gang, and had a list of offenses including battery, assault, drugs and weapons charges, and owed $25,000 in child support. He was also a registered pedophile, having impregnated a 14-year-old girl when he was 20. The media, by contrast, has portrayed him as a loving father of five.

Mexico leader vows justice over 43 missing students

Ayotzinapa (Mexico) (AFP) – Mexico’s president vowed Monday to punish those responsible for the disappearance of 43 students who vanished in a night of violence blamed on crooked police tied to a drug gang.
When I was growing up in St. Paul, my parents fought all the time. They told me it was natural as parents as they try to convey their issues and work it out together. There were times where I got really bothered hearing them fight. In fact, it affected my social life going to school. I was very quite, shy, and passive somehow when I was with my friends or classmates. It seem like I was holding-up this anger inside and I didn’t know where to release it-really didn’t have anyone to confide or talk to about how I felt.
I remember several times my mom would say “I want a divorce” or “I don’t know why I married your dad”. This really hurted me because I didn’t want to see my dad or mom to separate. I remember saying this a couple of times as I matured, “You two brought us (my siblings and I) to this world together, so you need to stay together to bring us into the world! Then you can get divorce, but till then you need to finish the job you started”. Looking back at this, I personally feel parents have to be careful what they say in front of their kids. I wished my mom had another adult she could express our feelings to. I feel parents need that extra support or sometype of fellowship of other adults that are close to share; instead of their kids. Parents need to model for their children. Children are the real victims of their parents actions: adulther, divorce, abuse, etc…It’s sad that they can’t just speak up on how they feel!
Watch the intimate scene that is moving the hearts of Father’s all over the world, including Soldiers like myself, fighting in Afghanistan. It’s a call to action, to recommit and resolve to their roles as a Godly Father, Husband, and Men of God.

To the Sons and Daughters of Divorce Article by Paul Maxwell Regular Contributor desiringgod.org “…Children with divorced parents have experienced a different kind of violent, traumatic collision. And every child of divorce must likewise walk a path of healing. It will, of course look different for different sons and daughters, but no one can deny that the emotional and relational bleeding needs attention, likely long after the papers are filed.
A chorus of adults with long-divorced parents will dismiss in unison: “I’m not broken, thanks very much. I’m not a project. I’m fine. It’s not even a big deal. I’m not a victim, and it certainly doesn’t deserve this much attention.” I totally get that. Depending on the day, I might say the same thing if I read my first two paragraphs.
My parents divorced when I was nine. I’m not a victim, but the break still broke me. It wounded me in ways I could not control. Years later, because I didn’t have the resources to work through things as a nine-year-old boy, certain forms of brokenness seem native and normal to me.
“The break that happens between mom and dad in divorce happens within the child.”
Divorce “attacks the self, because the self is formed within the belonging and meaning provided by the family. When it is destroyed, the threat of lost place and lost purpose becomes a reality. Without place or purpose, one becomes a lost self” (Andrew Root, Children of Divorce, ..”
Lyrics: (Psalm 139, Philippians 4:6-7, Habakkuk 3:17-19, James 1:5-8)
What do you think about when you look at me
I know we’re not the fairytale you dreamed we’d be
You wore the veil, you walked the aisle, you took my hand
And we dove into a mystery
How I wish we could go back to simpler times
Before all our scars and all our secrets were in the light
Now on this hallowed ground, we’ve drawn the battle lines
Will we make it through the night
It’s going to take much more than promises this time
Only God can change our minds
Maybe you and I were never meant to be complete
Could we just be broken together
If you can bring your shattered dreams and I’ll bring mine
Could healing still be spoken and save us
The only way we’ll last forever is broken together
How it must have been so lonely by my side
We were building kingdoms and chasing dreams and left love behind
I’m praying God will help our broken hearts align
And we won’t give up the fight

My wife and I are sharing this short yet powerful testimony of a little girl who is struggling with the battle taking place between her Dad and Mom. As I watched it today, I was very inspired, as well as saddened, for although the little girl’s heart’s desire is right . . . she did not know how to fix a seemingly impossible dilemma. So many of God’s children are struggling, and although they may sincerely desire for their marriage healed and restored, they often do not realize what it is they are literally fighting against, nor where the fight is coming from . . . My wife and I know all to well from personal experience what this battle is like. For we wrestled for years to overcome, yet it seemed no matter how hard we “tried,” nothing seemed to really work. Looking back now, I clearly see that we were “fighting” in the flesh, rather than the power of God’s Spirit ! For our Father in heaven has given each of us great Light from His Word, and above all, this assurance . . . “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal (weak and human), but mighty (full of power and possible) through God . . . to the pulling down of strongholds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing (those spirits, and powers of the air) that exalts itself against the knowledge (knowing – John 17:3) of God . . . And bringing into captivity every thought to the perfect obedience of Christ !” II Corinthians 10:4-5 & ref: Ephesians 2:2 “We wrestle not against flesh and blood (not our spouse, nor even our own), but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness* of this world . . . against spiritual wickedness in the heavens . . . Wherefore my brother and sister, take unto you the whole armour of God (Deity – II Peter 1:4), so that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day . . . and having done all, to stand ! . . . . Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with the Truth (John 17:17), and having on the breastplate of righteousness (Jeremiah 23:5-6) . . . And your feet shod with the preparation (ointment) of the Glad Tidings of Peace . . . And above all, taking the shield of faith . . . and faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17) . . . wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one (Satan, the devil) . . . And take the helmet of your Salvation (that deliverance, freedom and healing wrought and complete for you by the Lord Jesus Christ), and the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God . . . !” Ephesians 6:12-18 “For it is not by might, nor by power . . . but by My Spirit saith the LORD of hosts !” Zechariah 4:6 “And the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life !” John 6:63 and ref: Isaiah 55:8-11 We pray that this little girls testimony will touch you. And I encourage you also to watch the story of the miracle which the LORD did in our lives, and is more than willing also to do in yours, if you will seek Him with all your heart, and fight the good fight of faith !
