During worship service this morning at my local church, I shared some thoughts that I felt eager to share with the church body during “shares” after the worship music:
I shared that I’ve been interested in the recent news in Oroville, California…
… and been following up on it. I felt that their is a lot of symbolism with “man-made” dams that have been constructed around the world with our “spiritual” walk. The dams can be a symbolism of “lies” (e.g. “Your not good enough” , You are a loser”, etc..)that has been spoken to each of us in various ways that hinder us to receive more what God can do through us.
Before writing this, I was reminded of this “old-school” worship song..
I feel that we need to let God destroy that “spiritual dam” in our personal lives in order for His “Holy Spirit” to move in us mightier as His children.
What are you currently personally “struggling” with? Do you trust that God will get your through it? I then shared one of the songs that was sung during worship on “I’m NO longer a slave to fear..”, which I shared last year at church that we can substitute “fear” with whatever (e.g. sin, depression, alcohol, deception…
…drugs, an orphan, anger, cancer, PTSD, shame , jealousy, greed, stress, bullying, sexual impurity, lost, past, etc..) is keeping you “bondage”.. Keep repeating this to get it in your head until you have been release from these. This is part of meditation w/ God’s word (Bible verses on each one).
After my share, the guest speakers (Dennis & Zoe) from Pillager, MN shared about their recent trip to the Philippines. This family duo modeled how God can use us . They went to the Philippines to minister to the people there in different barangays/villages in various ways (e.g. healing, words of knowedledge, encouragement, etc..) This was such an encouragement for all of that we don’t have to depend on “ministers” or “church leaders” to do God’s work. We all can be used by Him to bring the taste of God’s kingdom on earth.
Hope and pray this will touch you and may God use each of us mightily in these days and please pray for the people of Oroville and the communities in the valley downstream of the #Orovillespillway or #Orovilledam. Feel free to share your thoughts, prayer requests, etc..

There is a correct order to show your children the Star Wars movies October 24, 2014 theweek.com
“…Let’s say you grew up watching the Star Wars trilogy, then had children sometime after 1999, when George Lucas started releasing the prequels.
When your kids are old enough, what order should they watch the films in? The order they were released — Star Wars (A New Hope) (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), and Return of the Jedi (1983), then The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), and Revenge of the Sith (2005)? Or the order the events happened in the Star Wars universe: Phantom Menace (I), Attack of the Clones (II), Revenge of the Sith (III), New Hope (IV), Empire Strikes Back (V), and Return of the Jedi (VI)?
Rod Hilton, a computer programmer in Colorado, has given this a lot of thought, and he probably has the best solution. His (correct) instinct is to start with New Hope (IV), because if you start with Phantom Menace (I) you lose the essential shock of learning Luke’s parentage in Empire Strikes Back. But he also wants to end on a high note — so, none of the prequels. Here’s Hilton’s “Machete Order,” named after his blog, Absolutely No Machete Juggling:
Next time you want to introduce someone to Star Wars for the first time, watch the films with them in this order: IV, V, II, III, VI…”

Two months prior to the airing of this episode of “The Mike Douglas Show”, the mega-blockbuster film “Star Wars” debuted in U.S. movie theaters. Host Mike Douglas and co-host Richard Thomas are joined by the three top “Star Wars” cast members — Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and Mark Hamill.
This is a rare chance to see these three “Star Wars” actors in their younger days, prior to the time when “super stardom” enveloped the trio.
This show was taped at Mike Douglas’ Philadelphia studios on July 20, 1977.

Update: Just watched it again (January 2nd 2016) and got this “relevation”-I was watching the scene where the evil guy tries to make Vader and his son Luke kill each other. He keeps telling Luke to “hate” (“let the hate flow through you…haha!”) and be “angry”. Fortunately, Luke remembers his teaching (mentored by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda) to fight with “love“!

It’s Never Too Late for Redemption
“At the very end of The Return of the Jedi, just when it seems that all hope is lost, something incredible happens. Darth Vader, the longstanding antagonist of the series, sacrifices himself to save his son and defeat the emperor. Vader had believed he was too far gone to ever find redemption. He had done so many terrible things, betrayed so many people. How could he ever be forgiven?
Luke, on the other hand (no pun intended), never lost faith in Vader. In fact, he believed so strongly he was willing to pay the ultimate price for his forgiveness. There are many people like Vadar who look back on their mistakes and think it’s too late, but they are wrong. I doesn’t matter how far we’ve strayed or how mangled we’ve become, Jesus gave his life so that we could be forgiven (John 3:16). God doesn’t need to save you, He already has…”

“…On the flip side, there is also a “dark side” which is easier to tap into because anger, fear, and aggression all lead to it. Only by staying calm, patient and passive can one avoid turning to the dark side. Obviously we need to teach our kids what the Bible has to say about all of this. We need to teach them that there is a real force and His name is Jesus Christ and in fact all things were created by Him (John 1:3; John 1:10) and through Him all things truly consist (Colossians 1:17)! Rogue One review: this is the first Star Wars movie to acknowledge the whole franchise is about war Updated by Todd VanDerWerff@tvoti Dec 16, 2016, 11:14am EST vox.com
It’s often incoherent and messy. But it’s also beautiful and has a strong central theme.
“..But if the film is politically relevant, it’s only accidentally so, not intentionally. I say that not just because Rogue One was completed long before Donald Trump’s election or even Brexit, but because Edwards uses a kind of scattershot approach to political content in his films — he’ll give you just enough of an idea of what he’s going for, but he’s uninterested in pushing any further than that.
An early shot in Rogue One features Stormtroopers patrolling the streets of a city rife with tension between various factions, rolling around in a tank. At various moments, it calls to mind the US occupation of Iraq and police militarization of American cities. But it’s not entirely clear whether Edwards has thought about what these similarities might mean in the larger tapestry of Rogue One beyond “Do you get this reference?” It’s political commentary as Family Guy joke…”

After sharing at church this morning about the power of intercessory prayer via worship music. I want to share in writing of some practical ways of life habits to keep me in that “warfare” mood..
-Put the Armor of God daily (e.g. while your dressing for the day)
-Meditating in God’s word morning (e.g. New Testament: Gospels and evening Old Testament: sing a chapter/verse in Psalms, Major-Minor Prophets )
-Fasting in a regular basis (e.g. I try to “fast” on vegetables/fruits 3 meals a week: 1-usually every Sunday mornings before church service to get me “hungry” for God’s word 2/3-usually at work when we have a meal I’m not interested in eating (e.g. red meat or high carbs)
-singing some worship (chorus) songs in my daily activities (e.g. riding the bike, watching “news” on t.v., and various “leisure activities”)

Lately, this theme of forgiveness has been circulating where ever I go. I had to “let it out” and write about it. I ran into this video on “spiritual warfare” and the speaker shared this quote that really resonated in me…
“The devil loses, when you forgive..” https://youtu.be/X0yb3zdKeZk Any personal stories, feedback, etc..? more.. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151998231142550&set=oa.736544596358770&type=3&theater
Above is a post I shared in one of my groups (Good News Love) I created on facebook. I’ve heard there is power when we forgive each other, so I would like to start…
If any of my friends read this, please forgive me if I ever wronged you in anyway. I might’ve forgotten it, so please feel free to contact me and remind me if this will help release any resentment, offense, or hurt that will heal you.
*see other Bible verses on forgiveness
One of the causes of “offense” is due to misunderstanding, which we all quickly prejudge. There are times I reflect on my parents fighting and it’s due to the “failure to communicate” (see “Failure to Communicate”-song I wrote). Can you relate? Feel free to share below…
For those that haven’t met me yet or haven’t encountered any offense from me…yet! 😉 I’m sure there are others that might’ve hurt you in various ways (e.g. abuse). Unfortunately, you might not ever get them to forgive you. However, God (Heavenly Father) knows and I encourage you to go to Him for healing of your past hurts.
I’ll share some of my forgiveness stories:
Back in high school, a former “friend” of mine wanted to befriend me after “ignoring” me most of the later years of “middle school”. Not being a Christian at the time, I wouldn’t forgive him and shun him away. Month later, he died in a head-on-collision car accident (visiting his biological Mom all the way in Colorado). I was torn in pieces when I heard the news and wished I reconciled with him. Please don’t make the dumbest mistake as I did, reconcile with those that has hurt you before it’s too late.
During my college and post-college years, I was interested in learning more about WWII (more of the Pacific arena) due to my family’s history (grandfather got capture by the Japanese and survived as a cook and great-grandfather was presumably killed as he never returned home when scoping the vicinity for any Japanese solders). As I read more books of the horrific atrocities the Japanese did in the Philippines and elsewhere, my heart towards the Japanese grew with more hate :(.. Well, God seems to try to soften my heart by bringing Japanese students to the college I attended. Then He brought them to be my renters in the house I owned. My last renter caught me watching some WWII footage of Japan’s horrific treatment. I tried to turned it off, but he saw it and we ended up having a deep conversation. He ended up asking forgiveness for what his ancestors did. I told him no worries, but in my heart-I felt some more compassion for him and the Japanese people overall.
Lastly, this is between me and my Heavenly Father-I gave my life to Christ my freshmen year in college. I did it after hearing a testimony of this speaker at a local church in Morris. This grabbed my heart and got me off my seat to go to the front (alter) and asked God to forgive me all of my sins. That was just the beginning and still in the journey of my faith (still sinning, but trying to sin-less as I grow in my personal relationship with my “Heavenly Dad” :)..
Above are just summaries of some of my stories on forgiveness-repentance. I’ll be glad to share more, but would love to hear yours first. I would love to disclose and be open/transparent/honest with you with my personal challenges-struggles as “we” can help each other in this journey of forgiveness with the “limited uncertain” time we have on this earth…

This past Sunday, my local church had some guest speakers after a weekend conference (Friday’s notes & Saturday’s notes) for women in our fellowship community. I was actually personally praying for this weekend conference for God to personally touch my sisters in the Lord. Well, I came to church yesterday morning after unintentionally staying up too late. I was so blessed that I had to share…

“Bringing order, bringing life….Father you know best”
“Consuming Raging Fire”…fire, fire, You are our consuming fire”..burn me up, burn me up,….consume me, consume me,…He is residing in me”.
-return to the 1st love
During worship, I felt some spoken words to me, so I had to write these down..
“I’m royalty, I have destiny…I’m waking now, it’s time to shine. I was born for such a time as this..”
“We worship you Jesus…let everything that has breath praise the Lord”
“My determined purpose is to know You”…
“waves” (look in the concordance Bible on this word)
“8”For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.”–Isaiah 55

Q: Are you willing to change your thinking? (e.g. religious traditions)
A: Renew mind (e.g. Romans 12)

supernatural from merriam-webster.com
adjective su·per·nat·u·ral \ˌsü-pər-ˈna-chə-rəl, -ˈnach-rəl\
: unable to be explained by science or the laws of nature : of, relating to, or seeming to come from magic, a god, etc.
Ever had a supernatural experience? I’ve had a handful, which I never recorded it. I decided to do it now while it’s still “fresh” in my memory with awe! I woke up in the “middle of the night/early morning” (4ish) to use the “bathroom” (drank a lot of water or something). Then within 10 or so minutes, the kitchen light just went on “automatically”. I was kind of “freaked” out scared as I was trying to analyze how this happened. I automatically thought of a “ghost” as I’ve heard and seen stories of this. I then started praying (e.g. saying “In Jesus’ name…go away!). I then got the “guts” to get up and turn the kitchen light off. As I was going to turn it off, I realized my fridge (freezer) door was open. I was like, what?? I then closed it and went back to bed peacefully as I saw it a “sign” to get up to close my freezer to prevent the food getting spoiled or energy wasted. Instead of pointing to a “ghost”, I pointed to “God” as my “Heavenly Father” watching over me for simple small things like this in life.
What do you think? Any similar “supernatural” stories or experiences? Would love to hear from you!

I’m not an expert on this topic, but just wanted to share my on-going “every day” battle with this to the world as we are all not immune to this. First, what is temptation?
temptation–“: a strong urge or desire to have or do something
: something that causes a strong urge or desire to have or do something and especially something that is bad, wrong, or unwise”
We all have a desire for “something”, just what is it for? Is it for selfish reasons? What causes us to have those particular “desires”? Do we ever think of the consequences of these “selfish-desires”? I went to a conference that challenged me to write this. The message (see Ephesians 4 on “generations”) was about what “we” do now will affect the future generations. This really spoke to me because sometimes we don’t consider the affects of our “selfish choices” . This message inspired me because I struggled with my “selfish desires” (temptations) and needed a “good kick in the butt” to think about the consequences of my “selfish actions” (not just in my lifetime, but by future lineage or younger generations overall).
This reminds me of this song…
If you start getting tempted, “STOP” the temptation right now before it gets bigger as the song says..”slow fade”! I know, it’s not that easy, right? Of course it isn’t, which is why we need help. Who and where we get that help from?…
I just chatted with a “friend” dealing with “heavy” sin (e.g. sexual immorality). She feels God doesn’t love her because of her lifestyle. I just told her to ask Him for forgiveness and that God does love her (John 3)”
I “try” to remember to “sing”/pray this daily each morning-along with meditating (repeating) on “putting the Armor of God” (Ephesians 6)…
Another tip that has helped me is “fasting” 3 meals a week, which is a faith booster. What other ways do you deal with temptation to help readers and me to “fight this battle” with God’s help?
When you sin, just ask God for forgiveness and ask His help to “sin” no more. Also, I encourage you to ask a brother or sister in Christ (after being connected to a local church family) to help you keep accountable. We can’t do this on our own. We need each other. I “try” to meet with friends/brothers in Christ in a regular (weekly/monthly/etc..) basis on this as we share our struggles and pray for one another.
Before going to bed, I “try” to ask God to show me my sins I need to ask for forgiveness-just like taking a physical shower because we all get dirty in this “dark” increasing world. I’ve been in to health lately and one of the things they recommend is “daily/weekly/monthly detoxification“. This means, we need to cleanse (e.g. colon, pineal gland-mind, etc..) ourselves regularly because of the daily chemicals/pollutants we sometimes “ignorantly” consume in a regular basis. This is the same with sin, we need to ask our Heavenly Father to cleanse us regularly.
I read a health article about we don’t have to colon cleanse as much if we “stop” eating “unhealthy foods”. The less you eat “junk food”, the “less” you have to keep detoxifying our own bodies. As I mentioned earlier in this blog, think about the future and younger generations in everything we do!
Please share any suggestions, comments, feedback, etc.. on anything related to what’s written above. Remember, I’m no expert, just sharing my own personal tips on this “global epidemic”. We all need each other and God’s help!…your not alone, so let’s share each other’s struggles and tips to help each other out! 🙂

I remember years after college, I was going to a St. Paul Saints game at Midway Stadium. I was going to pay my ticket and after I got my receipt, I noticed they charged me the “under 18” price. I was helping out with a community youth event (2010 +/-) at a nearby high school and one of the organizers asked me what year in high school I was in. Elderly guys at the local fitness center always ask what year in college I am. A friend from church came over with her family yesterday for lunch that I hosted at my house. The lady that I’ve known for years since going to my local church (1997 or so) told me “I look so good-looking” at my age still. Everywhere I go, most people comment how “younger” I look then my actual age (36), so I decided to share my personal tips to the global community. I don’t have it perfect, but I would love to share what I do and would love to learn more additional tips from readers like you.
I’ll start with the “wholistic” approach of body, soul, and mind (in no particular order of priority). However, my faith is “number uno” to all three as I start and end my day (Joshua 1:8) with God’s Word (soul food)….
“For by me your days will be multiplied, and years will be added to your life.”–Proverbs 9:11
When I first became a Christian (see , my eyes started to open as I read God’s Word. One of the verses that really “opened my eyes” on the importance of keeping healthy overall is..
“12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will…”–Romans 12
I was diagnosed “border-line” diabetic 6 or so years ago and this “woke” me up to change my life style. Rice is a big staple crop in my Asian-Filipino family’s diet in our meals, which I know played a factor in contributing to diabetes in my mom’s side (grandma and herself). I wanted this generational “genetic health issue” to stop with me, so I decided (w/ God’s help through His Word on “discipline”) to change my eating habits (e.g. Good News Foods). I already cut or eliminated my intake of “soda/pop” around that time, so I just gotta “eliminate” other “bad habits”.
My full-time job requires some “physical” stamina and health, so going to the “local gym” has been very beneficial for me. I don’t only do “exercises” there, but pretty much throughout the day. I regularly doing some exercises (e.g pushups, sit-ups, and stretches) each morning when I work my other job (pt) to “wake” me up and gives me a great start for the day. I “try” to ride my bike to as many places (e.g. workplace, fitness center, shopping around town, errands, etc..) as possible if weather (e.g. even during the winter as long there is no “blizzard”) is cooperative.
Another way is keeping “active” (e.g. church functions: local church-used to help with Sunday School, currently serving as a greeter in a every other month basis schedule, etc…; community volunteering, etc..) in the community in various activities using my God-given gifts, talents, skills, etc..
Lastly, it’s important to have an “active” mind, which I feel “eating healthier” contributes to a clearer mind. I keep learning new “bad foods” out there almost daily when folks share interesting articles on (Facebook-ask for my pics of my past years!) or finding articles/headlines when checking my email. “Knowledge is power”, right? Yes, I’m finish with college, but we “never” stop learning. That is why I love teaching ESL/GED at the local school as it’s more beneficial learning from my students than teaching them what I’m constantly learning.

How to keep a healthy balance of all three-Body, Soul, and Mind…daily? Yeah, I know, it’s not that easy. I’m no expert, but I feel I should share what I do to encourage you all in what I “try” to do to keep living a healthy balance life. People tell me I look younger than my age, which I take it as a compliment. Growing-up, I “hated” it! I was always treated “like a kid” or I was “look down” all the time. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned to appreciate it and I try to take advantage of it by encouraging “younger” folks to not let others “look down at them”. I then learn from the “older” folks and any age “folks” on how to live life “better” overall.
What do I do in daily basis to keep a “balanced life”? Here is my “typical” day that I “try” to accomplish in a regular basis that keeps me running like the “energizer” bunny:
When I get up in the morning, I try to allow time to not get rush, so I can do my daily devotions (Soul/Spirit)…
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”–Joshua 1:8
I like to read God's Word before breakfast because feeding my soul “awakens” the other parts (e.g. body and mind). I try to ask Heavenly Father what part of His “Good” Book (Love Letter) I should read for the day. When I had some “significant” dream, I like to reflect and write what was in my dream on a notebook next to my pillow. I’m usually too tired still and most of the time “rushed”, so I usually try to pick the chapter from the Book of Proverbs based on the day. For example, tomorrow morning will be Sunday-January 29th 2012. I would read Chapter 29 of Proverbs. If I’m in a “rush”, which I try not too-I would “try” to read at least a verse from the chapter. Ideally, I like to read the whole chapter. I then meditate on what I just read and try to remember what verse or topic sticks out the most. I then ask God to “mold” me to what I just read as I want to daily “grow” in my personal relationship with Him.
I then like to get a glass of juice, which I read it’s very healthy to have a fruit (e.g. juice) before a meal. It has to do with the digestive system, which helps prepare your stomach before a meal. They recommend having a fruit at least 30minutes to an hour before a meal. I then get dressed for the day, which I then picture putting the “Armor of God” (see Ephesians 6 on Spiritual Warfare). I started doing this after attending a “small group” I was involved and a lady encouraged all of us about putting the “Armor of God” (along with the spiritual gifts) daily. She would use the analogy as putting a winter outfit before going out in the cold during the winter time-“Would you go out in the cold without a winter jacket during the winter?”-Of course “no”, it’s like putting the “Armor of God” because we know the devil is out to seek and destroy God’s children. We need that protection daily, which is why too many Christians are getting “attacked” too often because they forgot this part.
After getting dressed and my personal cares, I “try” to get my “break” “fast” (BODY). As I “run” out of the house and go into my car/bike to get to work. I then meditate one of my favorite Scripture them-“Fruits of the Spirit” (e.g. patience, peace, joy, life, etc..). This helps me to more “Christ-like” daily, which I pray and ask God for all this. I then like to get my vocal cords (voice) ready, so I do my “vocal exercises” (see GoodnewsEverybody.com Music: Kaoroke, Sing, Singing, Sung, etc..) and then “worship” the Lord through a song.
“6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
Praise the LORD. “–Psalm 150
Along my ride (BODY-Bike if it’s nice weather, which is great daily exercise)/drive to work, I like to pray for various people (e.g. children waiting for the bus) and/or various topics (e.g. “Show me God how I can be used by You today”) depending on what God lays in my heart or what I see along the route.
Throughout the work day, I try to “keep my mind” occupied through breaking the daily “mundane” routine by doing different activities (e.g. singing, reading something “new”, etc..) each day. I like to ask the people I work with how was their day after work yesterday or how their weekend was. I try to keep their minds and mine renewed. I sometimes stay silent and converse with God. He sometimes give me a list of “things to do”, which I like to carry my pocket calender with me all the time.
When I come home, I try to check the list of things to do (e.g. errands). I usually spend time on my computer (e.g. email, websites, etc..) and take a break by doing some “physical exercise” (e.g. workout indoors during winter or some sport activity during the summer).
I don’t have cable, which I don’t mind as most of the stuff on it “pollutes” my mind. However, I can easily find “garbage” on the internet too. This is where that morning prayer I prayed on the “Armor of God” comes in. What has helped me in the past is regularly “fast” at least once a week (or at least 3 meals a week without food or just fruits-vegetables), which helps me “battle” daily temptation.
The Lord’s Prayer_Hymnal_ MV
Before I end my day, I like to read the news to see what’s going on in the world each day. However, I can’t trust mainstream media all the time, so I look at some “alternative-positive” news. This is where I find “good news” for news sources on my different websites I do-depending on the topic-geography. I then write on my “prayer” calender what I like to lift to God in prayer. I try to remember to use this time to also ask God to remind me of the “bad things” (“sins“) I committed and ask for forgiveness-like taking a “spiritual” shower, so I’ll be clean for a “new” day for tomorrow. I like to end with a “positive” note, so I reflect on what I”m thankful (blessed) to my Heavenly “Dad” and write it on another pocket calender. I then read some Scripture verse/chapter that relates to the theme of what happened that particular day before going to bed!
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God this is your spiritual[a] act of worship. 2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is his good, pleasing and perfect will.”–Romans 12:1-2

Ever had a dream and clueless of what it was all about? … Then some time later, you experienced it in “real life”? Well, I had this type of “deja vu” experience…again! I’ll share my other experiences sometime later. I’m currently looking at my dream notebook (I try to write down as much as possible on the dreams I have on this notebook that I “try” to put besides my bed) and feel the date of this dream was on Tuesday, September 13th of last month. I started to realize this “deja vu” experience this past weekend. I was invited by some friends to volunteer as an usher in this youth event a week before this event as I told them I was looking at going to Fargo, North Dakota. They told me about this youth event last month, so I wrote this on my calender. When the event was coming close, I wanted to schedule a time to visit some friends while I came to this event. Well, my schedule somehow worked out for last weekend to drive to Fargo. I haven’t been to this city for close to over a year, so I was very excited to come. When I drove up this past Saturday (October 8th of 2011), I began to see my dream come to “real life”. I took this route (32nd Ave.) and began to see things that were in my dream. I started to get more sensitive and focus more on this area (Great Plains). Several block later, I reached Scheels Arena. I was first amazed of the new place as I haven’t been to Fargo for a long time. As I was scouting the place to look around the arena, I started to see another (not sure now if these two different locations were the same or different separate dreams) dream come alive…
I quickly started to prayer (intercede) as it matched this dream I had. There were shootings going on in this particular area. I couldn’t fully remember what was really going on, but I just felt I needed to prayer. It then came to me that going to this event was very key and that this youth event was not just an ordinary get-together. I started to prayer “a lot” more than usual as I came in to the arena.
Here is another “key” moment: I came to volunteer as an usher and got together with some folks from a local church I was invited to help out. They told us to get into groups of 7, so we decided to team together. The organizer began to assign groups to particular sections around the arena. I believe we were the 4th or 5th group to be assigned and we ended up in Section 116. ..
As we got to our section, we realize this was the “main entrance” where folks will be entering. Wow, we felt very privileged. I then shared my dream with some folks and said we weren’t put here by accident. I then began to pray more and then they started to open the gates for the people to come into the arena. I started to “try” praying for each individual that came through our section. Well, here was the result…
Impact World Tour Day #2 (Fargo, ND on Sat, Oct 8th 11)-GX International: Life of Purpose Part 2of2
The next night was also “impact full” as the them or group was “Island Breeze”. I wanted to go to Fargo to visit a friend of mine that I met last summer when he worked in Morris. He attends school at NDSU and invited him for last night’s event, but he couldn’t make it. I persistently invited him to the local church I’m connected with in Fargo, but he wasn’t able to make it. Another friend (Aric) and I decided to go at least visit him. I wanted to at least see him in person before heading back to Morris. I met him along with his housemates (also from India in their residential apartments (International Village across the Fargo Dome). After hanging out, we (Aric and I) went back to Scheels Arena for tonight’s event. I wanted to go earlier because I found out there was a prayer group from IHOP…
… praying 10am-10pm during these 3-day outreach events underneath the stands of the stadium. Right after praying, I got a text from my friend that he was planning to come, which I was very excited!
My friends and I had to sit back in the arena because I wasn’t expecting all 3 of them to come. I was expecting only 1 of them, which I saved a seat for him up front by the stage with folks from the local church I attended earlier in the day. They seem to enjoy the event and I was able to introduce them with the friends from the local church…
*please be in prayer for the follow-up of this “city-moving” event and feel free to contact me on any feedback (e.g. input, prayer requests, etc..)
