Do the dates ascribed to the Egyptian dynasties falsify the date of biblical creation? “Egyptian chronology can be a challenging subject for biblical creationists. That’s because the secular, majority view about these chronologies extends further back than an objective reading of the biblical chronogenealogies allows for creation: a little over 6,000 years ago. These chronologies are hotly debated among Christians and secularists alike, with the consensus being increasingly challenged. Moreover, some of the incredible Egyptian monuments like the great pyramids on the Giza Plateau have dates ascribed to them that would have them being built before the earth-reshaping Flood of Noah’s time around 4,500 years ago. Following a strict biblical chronology, Egyptian civilization cannot predate creation, nor can the pyramids be pre-Flood constructions….

Why should we be concerned about Egyptian Chronology? Isn’t this just a side issue? Few people realize that Egyptian Chronology is considered by modern archaeologists as the “gold standard” of chronology. That means that is regarded as an accurate record of history. But there is a problem. The Egyptian Chronology, as modern archaeologists understand it, stretches the history of mankind beyond the Biblical timeline for the creation and the Flood. How is it possible that the Pyramids could still be standing if they were built before the Flood! We are left either with a destroyed faith or compromising the Biblical chronology. This seminar will help straighten out the mess and present some alternatives to the current Egyptian Chronology.

It honors the signing by Abraham Lincoln of a joint House and Senate resolution that later became the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution President Lincoln signed the Amendment outlawing slavery on February 1, 1865. It was not ratified by the states, however, until later on December 18, 1865.

“The Pashtuns are a predominantly Muslim people, native to Afghanistan and Pakistan, who adhere to their pre-Islamic indigenous religious code of honour and culture Pashtunwali. They traditionally claim descent from the Lost Tribes. The Yousafzai (Yusafzai) are a large group of Pashtun tribes. Their name means “Sons of Joseph”.
There are also similar names in other areas of the region, such as the disputed land of Kashmir. There are a variety of cultural and ethnic similarities between Jews and Pashtuns. A visit by a Western journalist in 2007 revealed that many currently active Pashtun traditions may have parallels with Jewish traditions. The code of Pashtunwali is strikingly similar in content and subject matter to the Mosaic law.
A book which corresponds to Pashtun historical records, Taaqati-Nasiri, states that in the 7th century a people called the Bani Israel settled in Ghor, southeast of Herat, Afghanistan, and then migrated south and east. These Bani Israel references are in line with the commonly held view by Pashtuns that when the twelve tribes of Israel were dispersed, the tribe of Joseph, among other Hebrew tribes, settled in the region. Hence the tribal name ‘Yusef Zai in Pashto translates to the ’sons of Joseph’.
This is also described extensively in great detail by Makhzan-i-Afghani, a historical work from the 17th Century by Nehamtullah, an official in the royal court of Mughal Emperor Jehangir. A similar story is told by Iranian historian Ferishta.
This account is also substantiated by the fact that the Bnei Menashe of India also have traditions which trace their wanderings as going originally from the Persian Empire to Afghanistan. In their case, they then went to China, where they encountered persecution, then pressed on to India and Southern Asia.
The Bani-Israelite theory about the origin of the Pashtun is based on Pashtun traditions; the tradition itself is documented in a source titled Makhzan-i-Afghani, the only written source addressing Pashtun origins. It was written in 1612, by Nematullah Harvi, a scribe at the court of Mughal Emperor Jehangir of Hindustan.
Nematullah compiled his book on the order of Khan Jehan Lodhi of the Lodhi dynasty, a Pashtun noble and a courtier of the Emperor Jehangir. Some sources state that the Makhzan-i-Afghani has been discredited by historical and linguistic inconsistencies. The oral tradition is believed to be a myth that grew out of a political and cultural struggle between Pashtuns and the Mughals, which explains the historical backdrop for the creation of the myth, the inconsistencies of the mythology, and the linguistic research that refutes any Semitic origins. There are also other sources which disagree strongly with the hypothesis that the Pashtuns have Israelite origins…”

Minnesota man accused of using forced labor in restaurant Associated Press Fri, Aug 4 5:09 PM PDT yahoo.com “..Pisanu “Pat” Sukhtipyaroge, 71, of Maplewood, is accused in a criminal complaint of forced labor involving the man, who was 18 years old when he arrived in the United States in 2015 from the Dominican Republic on a student visa, the Star Tribune reported.
Authorities allege that Sukhtipyaroge put the man to work at his restaurant for low pay while deducting the costs of bringing him to the U.S. from the wages in a “debt bondage arrangement.”
The complaint also says Sukhtipyaroge threatened to contact immigration officials to have the man deported if he didn’t engage in sexual activity. The man told authorities that he’s “very fearful” of Sukhtipyaroge, according to the document.
The criminal complaint says the teenager only attended high school for a short time before Sukhtipyaroge said he wasn’t allowed to go to classes. Sukhtipyaroge then kicked the man out of his home, allowing him to live in a storage room below the Royal Orchid restaurant in Columbia Heights, according to the court filing.
The complaint says the man told authorities that Sukhtipyaroge chats with young teenage boys online in pursuit of sexual activity and travels to foreign countries to engage in sex acts with young boys. The filing says law enforcement executed a search warrant at Sukhtipyaroge’s home and found bags containing what appeared to be “boy/teen’s underwear.” Officials also found videos on a computer seized from Sukhtipyaroge showing him performing sex acts with the victim, according to the document.
Court records don’t list an attorney for Sukhtipyaroge who could comment on his behalf. An answering machine message at the restaurant says it’s closed until Aug. 8.

The videos of the March 9 incident at the Super 8 Motel with ex-state Sen. Ralph Shortey were released on Tuesday by the Moore Police Department.
The videos show police knocking on the door and talking with someone inside for a few minutes before Shortey answers the door wearing a T-shirt. The officers tell Shortey the boy is 17 and his father was worried about him. Shortey says in the video he didn’t know the boy was 17.

Requiring convicted sex traffickers to register as sex offenders. Requiring all registered sex offenders to disclose their internet accounts.
