Passover – Ten Commandments
“Uploaded on Apr 16, 2008
This is a montage I found on http://www.tsofar.com/zofar/mashtap/s… and wanted you all to see. It shows us how much G-d loves us. He didn’t do these miracles for any other nation! We should think about that at the Pesach (Passover) Seder. Happy Passover!
What is Passover – Important History and Christian Traditions Russ Jones ChristianPress.com crosswalk.com
“.. In many circles there appears to be an increasing interest in the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. This Easter season numerous congregations across the globe will hold a “Passover Haggadah” or more traditionally known as a “Seder” to gain a greater understanding of the Christian – Jewish relationship. To understand more about the holiday of Passover and how Christians can meaningfully celebrate it today, let’s dig into the history and traditions.
A Brief Passover History
Passover is the oldest and most important religious festival in Judaism, commemorating God’s deliverance of the Hebrews from slavery in Egypt and His creation of the Israelite people.
The festival of Passover begins at sunset on the 14th of Nisan (usually in March or April) and marks the beginning of a seven day celebration which includes the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The highlight of Passover is a communal meal, called the Seder (which means “order,” because of the fixed order of service), which is a time to rejoice and celebrate the deliverance for the Hebrews that God accomplished through the exodus.

Are all sins equal to God? Is all sin the same? gotquestions.org
“..So, although Jesus said that lust and adultery are both sins, that does not mean they are equal. It is much worse to actually murder a person than it is to simply hate a person, even though they are both sins in God’s sight. There are degrees to sin. Some sins are worse than others. At the same time, in regard to both eternal consequences and salvation, all sins are the same. Every sin will lead to eternal condemnation (Romans 6:23). All sin, no matter how “small,” is against an infinite and eternal God, and is therefore worthy of an infinite and eternal penalty. Further, there is no sin too “big” that God cannot forgive it. Jesus died to pay the penalty for sin (1 John 2:2). Jesus died for all of our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21). Are all sins equal to God? Yes and no. In severity? No. In penalty? Yes. In forgivability? Yes.
All Sins Are Not Equal J.I. Packer/ DECEMBER 28, 2004 christianitytoday.com
“..Scripture shows that in God’s estimate some sins are worse and bring greater guilt than others, and that some sins do us more damage. Moses rates the golden calf debacle a great sin (Ex. 32:30)….
… Ezekiel in his horrific allegory says that after Oholah (Samaria) had ruined herself by unfaithfulness to God, Oholibah (Jerusalem) “became more corrupt … in her lust and in her whoring, which was worse than that of her sister” (Ezek. 23:11, ESV). John distinguishes sins that do and do not inevitably lead to death (1 John 5:16), picking up Jesus’ warning about the unforgivable sin (Mk. 3:28-30).

What is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? bibleinfo.com
“…Is there a sin that cannot be forgiven?
Yes, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, is any sin that a person clings to by continually resisting the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. Keep in mind that there is not one specific sin that is unforgivable, such as lying, stealing or murder, but rather a perpetual hardening of the heart and willfully sinning against God and man (1 Timothy 4:2; Titus 1:15). In Acts 7:51, Stephen says the following to the Pharisees, “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.” In a nutshell the unpardonable sin is any sin that a person doesn’t want to give up, confess, or even ask forgiveness for and additionally doesn’t want to hear any more about it from the Holy Spirit…”

QUESTION: What are the seven deadly sins?
Lead to “death”?
What is the sin that leads to death, or the sin unto death, that John talks about? compellingtruth.org
“..Many interpretations exist regarding this “sin that leads to death.” Unfortunately, the text is not clear what this “sin” is. It does appear clear John wrote to believers and was speaking of physical death. For example, Ananias and Sapphira experienced physical death for their sin (Acts 5). In 1 Corinthians 11:30, Paul wrote concerning wrongful practice of the Lord’s Supper, “That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died.”
There is Sin that Leads to Death
1 John 5:14-21
by Cooper Abrams bible-truth.org
“…c. The unpardonable sin is in context a part of the dispensation of the Law. It is a specific sin of blasphemy, in which a person would credit the devil for the work of the Holy Spirit. The special circumstances involved in blasphemy can not be duplicated today. The Scribes and Pharisees committed this sin in attributing the work of Jesus to the Devil. (see Matthew 12:24, Mark 3:22, Luke 11:15)
People KILLED by God – The Bible Study Site biblestudy.org
“..Ananias and his wife Sapphira were New Testament believers. After selling some land, they decided to give the church PART of the proceeds but make it seem that they were donating the entire amount of the sale. The apostle Peter, however, saw through their mutually agreed ruse. After confronting each one separately regarding their sin, they both immediately died (Acts 5:1 – 10).

Born with a hole in her heart, she saw Jesus before angels carried her home
June 10, 2014 blog.godreports.com
“..After her second birthday, she had her first vision of Jesus. It happened in their family room, only a few weeks before her passing….
“Hey Jesus. Hi. Hi Jesus,” she said, to her mom’s surprise.
“What do you see, babe? Tamrah asked.
“Hi Jesus. Hi,” little Giselle continued, her eyes wide with delight.
“Where is He?
“Right there,” she pointed.
Giselle had at least two more visions of Jesus in the weeks before her graduation to heaven. One happened in the car while they were driving and another in a store.
One day in the car, Giselle began to spontaneously sing, “Rejoice! Rejoice! (E)mmanuel…” She had not learned to pronounce ‘E’s’ so it came out as ‘Manuel.’

Sal: Personal Oral (3:45 minute) Interview
Last week (April 4th/5th 2016), a client (anonymous for confidentiality) at my workplace shared this story after she sporadically told me she was “healed” (medical condition is confidential, but trust me-I saw her in a really serious medical condition that I just laid my hands on her and prayed for her during this “severe” medical condition in front of my co-worker) and “saw” Jesus. I have to be honest, I was skeptical at first, but as she shared some specifics of her personal encounter with Jesus in Heaven. Her story confirmed many other stories I’ve heard (e.g. Victoria T. from my local church when she shared late last spring (see Sermon Download 04.19.2015 – Speaker: Spencer and Victoria Tiernan – [DOWNLOAD]) of 2015. I already have consent from her to share:
“…He said it wasn’t my time to go yet… (Sal: “so you told me earlier that you saw your grandparents/relatives and they were younger lookin’?) Yup..you never grow old in Heaven…(Sal: this happened last Friday)..Yup..this was a real miracle for me. God is watching over me (Sal..healed from your “medical condition”)..and that I was walking, running, playing, etc.. with the dogs and cats…(Sal: you were walking..this is an encouragement for people in wheelchairs too)…that I was a miracle I was in Heaven and not in wheelchair…and saw ____(name of our friend is confidential)____ (saw ___(friend)___? how did he look?)….”good..(Sal-younger?)…yup…(Sal-no white hair?)…yup”…(Sal-‘should share this with __(another common friend of ours)__) ..(Sal-Heaven is real!)..and there was angels and yeah..and see some…nice trees, was really beautiful (Sal..”new earth”)..if I go back to Earth , I would like to come down was as a dog (Sal: we’ll get new heavenly bodies..)..[stopped video]
After she shared this story, I remembered most of last week I was singing the chorus of this song (“Come & Let Your Presence fall in this…”)…e.g. workplace) that was in the list of worship songs for last Sunday as part of my local church worship team.
I was so inspired and encouraged by her story, that I told her to keep sharing this to as many people as she can. She would immediately share this with her peers, visitors at our workplace, co-worker, etc.. I’ll keep you updated of any further testimonies. Till then, may this and all these stories (above and below) encourage you in your faith and to share your own personal “faith building” story to as many people around you!
2 Corinthians 5New Living Translation (NLT)
New Bodies biblegateway.com
” 5 For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. 2 We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. 3 For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies.[a] 4 While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. 5 God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
6 So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. 7 For we live by believing and not by seeing. 8 Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. 10 For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body…”

That night Ron called his mother and grandmother who bailed him out of jail. The first thing he asked for was to be taken to church. It was Easter Sunday.”..

I SAW JESUS! (The Karen Templin Story) Jesus Did It!
By: Karen Templin
“…As I was thinking I should look for His face, I raised my eyes, and I couldn’t have been more surprised by what I saw. I saw Jesus — He was actually there! It was just His face, but he was alive, and moving around. He had dark, shoulder-length hair with light streaks of gray, and He was wearing a crown of thorns. I just gazed up at Him, and He was smiling at me with the most loving smile I had ever seen in my life!
The first thing I thought was – He looks a little different than He does in His pictures, but only slightly different. I had expected His hair to be longer, and His nose was a little different…
Next, I saw Him sending beams of transparent, white light towards my heart. I felt the light penetrating my being. The light felt like nothing, other than pure love and compassion. Jesus was very kind and loving towards me — not condemning at all. I only sensed a strong outpouring of love from Him. He seemed perfect in His goodness and kindness.
Next He began to communicate to me, but no words were used. He communicated by sending me feelings. There was knowledge in the feelings that I understood easily and clearly as it was transferred into my mind.
He said that He already knew about it all — my lack of forgiveness towards others — how I had been hurt by other people, and the circumstances in my life that had made me feel that way. He said, “I know everything about you.” That surprised me greatly, but I also felt comforted by it. It meant that He had never been far from me like I had always thought. I realized that I had been constantly under His supervision, like when our children are small, and we never let them out of our eyesight.
Again, I felt more compassion from Him pouring out to me. He said, “I feel your pain. I grieve with you.” He was like a loving parent who will pick you up when you are hurting, and hold you in his loving arms. He will comfort you, and wipe away all of your tears. I actually felt like I had been comforted, and held in the arms of Jesus.
After He comforted me, He spoke again. He told me not to worry or concern myself with these things because He would take care of it for me. I sensed an incredible strength in Him. I felt like a burden had been lifted, and I felt like He could easily carry all of my burdens. We have all been taught about the meek and humble man, but he exuded strength, and I could feel it.
I was still looking at Him. I was still surprised by some of the things that He said. He was still looking at me. He still wore that loving smile on his face that would melt the heart of the worst hardened sinner. He was still sending me love, and it was to overflowing. There was so much love that I felt like my heart couldn’t hold it all, and it may burst if I took in much more. I began to feel like I couldn’t handle it anymore. Maybe in human form we can’t. I don’t know.
Seeing all of the goodness and purity in Him, I felt like I may break down into tears and sobs. I started to feel unworthy of His pure holiness. He was a soul at the highest level of perfection. Seeing this makes you aware of even your smallest sins. I felt unworthy of Him, and then I looked away.
When I looked back, He wasn’t there anymore, but I was left with a feeling of total awe. Jesus had been there. I had seen Him. I had felt Him. He had communicated with me. The thing I was left knowing, above everything else, was that He loved me more than anyone had ever loved me in my life!..”
What does Jesus really look like?
by Tom Brown tbm.org
“..I didn’t see Him in his traditional garments; instead I saw Him sitting in a wheelchair with a blanket over His legs. There was suppose to be an elderly man sitting there, but instead it was the Lord. As I looked across the room, all I could see was Jesus. I saw Jesus in the place of all the people. He wore a nurse’s uniform. He sat in a chair where there was a lady supposed to have sat. I could not see anyone’s face. I only saw the Lord.
As I looked in astonishment, I heard the Lord say, “Whatever you have done for one of the least of these, you have done unto me.” The vision ended…”

Why did Jesus have to die for our sins?, by Matt Slick carm.org
“..Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14, Col. 2:9), and only God can satisfy the Law requirements of a perfect life and perfect sacrifice that cleanses us of our sins…”
“…All people have sinned against God. But, God is infinitely holy and righteous. He must punish the sinner, the Lawbreaker. If He didn’t, then His law is not Law, for there is no law that is a law without a punishment. The punishment for breaking the Law is death – separation from God. Therefore, we sinners need a way to escape the righteous judgment of God. Since we are stained by sin and cannot keep the Law of God, then the only one who could do what we cannot is God Himself. That is why Jesus is God in flesh. He is both divine and human. He was made under the Law (Gal. 4:4), and He fulfilled it perfectly. Therefore, His sacrifice to God the Father on our behalf is of infinite value and is sufficient to cleanse all people from their sins and undo the offense to God….”

“…So why is a sacrifice needed? What is sin? Why do humans sin? Simply speaking, sin is rebellion against God, it is rebellion against the highest authority. It is an offence against God’s holiness and right to institute all laws. It is saying that we know better what is right and wrong, and we disregard God’s authority, it is disobedience, it is desperately destructive, and is profoundly offensive to the all-holy God revealed in the Bible, Who created our first parents Adam and Eve, with the ability to make choices, and God made it very clear, before Adam’s first sin, that the consequence of sin is death, and that is repeated throughout the Bible, because of the sinful choice that Adam made,..”

I’m not an expert on this topic, but just wanted to share my on-going “every day” battle with this to the world as we are all not immune to this. First, what is temptation?
temptation–“: a strong urge or desire to have or do something
: something that causes a strong urge or desire to have or do something and especially something that is bad, wrong, or unwise”
We all have a desire for “something”, just what is it for? Is it for selfish reasons? What causes us to have those particular “desires”? Do we ever think of the consequences of these “selfish-desires”? I went to a conference that challenged me to write this. The message (see Ephesians 4 on “generations”) was about what “we” do now will affect the future generations. This really spoke to me because sometimes we don’t consider the affects of our “selfish choices” . This message inspired me because I struggled with my “selfish desires” (temptations) and needed a “good kick in the butt” to think about the consequences of my “selfish actions” (not just in my lifetime, but by future lineage or younger generations overall).
This reminds me of this song…
If you start getting tempted, “STOP” the temptation right now before it gets bigger as the song says..”slow fade”! I know, it’s not that easy, right? Of course it isn’t, which is why we need help. Who and where we get that help from?…
I just chatted with a “friend” dealing with “heavy” sin (e.g. sexual immorality). She feels God doesn’t love her because of her lifestyle. I just told her to ask Him for forgiveness and that God does love her (John 3)”
I “try” to remember to “sing”/pray this daily each morning-along with meditating (repeating) on “putting the Armor of God” (Ephesians 6)…
Another tip that has helped me is “fasting” 3 meals a week, which is a faith booster. What other ways do you deal with temptation to help readers and me to “fight this battle” with God’s help?
When you sin, just ask God for forgiveness and ask His help to “sin” no more. Also, I encourage you to ask a brother or sister in Christ (after being connected to a local church family) to help you keep accountable. We can’t do this on our own. We need each other. I “try” to meet with friends/brothers in Christ in a regular (weekly/monthly/etc..) basis on this as we share our struggles and pray for one another.
Before going to bed, I “try” to ask God to show me my sins I need to ask for forgiveness-just like taking a physical shower because we all get dirty in this “dark” increasing world. I’ve been in to health lately and one of the things they recommend is “daily/weekly/monthly detoxification“. This means, we need to cleanse (e.g. colon, pineal gland-mind, etc..) ourselves regularly because of the daily chemicals/pollutants we sometimes “ignorantly” consume in a regular basis. This is the same with sin, we need to ask our Heavenly Father to cleanse us regularly.
I read a health article about we don’t have to colon cleanse as much if we “stop” eating “unhealthy foods”. The less you eat “junk food”, the “less” you have to keep detoxifying our own bodies. As I mentioned earlier in this blog, think about the future and younger generations in everything we do!
Please share any suggestions, comments, feedback, etc.. on anything related to what’s written above. Remember, I’m no expert, just sharing my own personal tips on this “global epidemic”. We all need each other and God’s help!…your not alone, so let’s share each other’s struggles and tips to help each other out! 🙂

I’ve driven by “homeless” folks many times over the countless years around the Twin Cities and debating how God can use me to “reach out” to them….
I can’t say this was the voice of God, but this was spoken to my heart through an idea through a conversation with a friend. During Halloween, I like to give out “healthy juice” drinks (w/various Bible verses) instead of candy, which I bought a whole bunch several months ago. I was debating in my spirit my involvement with this “pagan day” this year, which I decided to not turn the lights on, but have my juices ready in case someone comes over. Well, no one came at all this year, so I have all these juices left over. I was telling my friend this and the idea of giving it to these “folks with signs along the highway exit ramps” would be a blessing.
Well, the holidays visiting family was going to be a great time do it. When I arrived in the cities yesterday (CHRISTmas Day) morning, I had my juices ready (along with food). I forgot I had them in my back of my car until I saw this guy with a sign along the highway exit by my parent’s home in St. Paul. It would have to be a quick and give as there were going to be cars coming behind me coming off the highway (eastbound on I-94). I grab one of the juice bottles (w/Bible verse) and a carton of some bakery goods. I ran over to the corner with my car running and quickly gave these items to this guy. I asked what his name was, he replied “Ben…thank you!”. I ran to my car and said “God bless you” and got to my car in time before the car came behind me coming off the highway. I did a quick prayer for Ben and went “home” to visit family for the holidays.
Today (26th of December 2014), I had another opportunity on that same corner, but it was a different guy with a sign along the highway exit ramp (Ruth & I-94). I noticed this guy as I was heading across the highway bridge to drop my car off to get an oil change at Firestone. When I dropped my car off early this morning (8:30ish), I got a bag of one juice bottle w/Bible verse and my last carton of bakery goods. I took it with me as I walked back home to wait to get my oil change done. This time, I had the time to chat with this guy, so I walked across the street and gave these items (prayed for preparation earlier) to him. He was grateful as he said thank you as he put the bag down by some of his stuff as he continued to hold his sign. Being that curious talkative guy, I asked his name and he replied “Tom” . I then asked about why he is here, he replied-“I got laid off my job several months ago and sleeping over at a friend’s house nearby’ (paraphrase as I can’t remember exactly what he told me word for word). He then shared, he’ll be getting his Social Security benefits soon. I would later share about what brought me to town (visiting family for the holidays). Prior to our talk, the Bible verse on “Silver or Gold I don’t have, but I have Jesus”-Acts) came to me, so I decided to tell Tom about Him. He then repeatedly told me he is Christian. I then asked him if I can pray with him for God’s provision. He then replied, “I don’t feel like getting prayer right now….I’m not feeling well as I caught the flu”. In my mind, I had a feeling this guy had some “hurt” in the past and didn’t want anything to do with God. I then replied, “..well that’s the best time to get prayer because your sick?” as I smiled. He then repeated again he was a “Christian” already, so I decided to move on and didn’t want this guy to “blow-up”. As I walked away to go back “home”, he would repeat and shout again “I’m a Christian already” as I quietly prayed in my Spirit for him. If you are reading this, please pray for Tom and Ben too…thanks!
